Eduardo did an assessment and provided a quote at a fair price. He showed up on time, put up plastic barriers to keep the dust down and went to work. He did a great job on the repairs, you can't tell the ceiling or wall was repaired. He cleaned up and you'd never know he was there. Top quality work and very professional. I will be calling Eduardo for my next project!

Excellent service and exceptional work!…read more I love supporting veteran owned business. I serve them daily in the work I do, so it's nice to be able to do something to support one of their businesses. The owner Travis came out to my home to provide me with a free estimate. After I agreed on the price. I asked if he could have someone start soon. He did his best to fit me in the companies schedule sooner than later. During the day of the painting, Travis was not able to show up but he let me in good hands with his fore(woman) which is a person who is in charge of the project and the other two people that assisted her. I never had a women painter. I know women can do anything men can. She (They) did a great job. I'm very happy with the work they did and will recommend them to everyone. They painted 4 rooms total. I hope to have them paint the rest of my home by the end of the year.

Avoid R Contracting Services - they will surprise you with extra charges at the end, hidden cost…read moreand restrict communication I hired R Contracting Services because it had good reviews and I needed a company to handle the full addition of a sunroom to my home. They demanded 60% of the total cost before starting the work, so by the time these surprise costs came up, I had already paid most of the contract. The quote was presented as covering everything needed. I understood from the start that I would order and pay separately for the windows, doors, and trash container. But about a week before the project ended, the owner, Renee, told me I also had to pay extra for the the trim entire package, all Int/ext window and door trim, baseboard, quarter round... and for the materials to repair the wall after removing the French doors. Removing those doors was part of the quote. When I objected, she said she had "forgotten" to include these items and called it a mistake. Yet she never forgot to come collect each payment. From the beginning, Renee told me I was not allowed to speak with Sam, who actually runs the project: he directs the workers, tells them how to do each task, supervises them, and brings the materials. She said I could only talk to her about everything, that I should not speak Spanish with Sam, and that I should call her for any question or problem. She also said I had no reason to discuss costs or anything else with him. The problem is that Renee was only on site for 5 to 10 minutes a day, so the person who was really in charge was the one I was not allowed to talk to. This made it very hard to explain things clearly. The rule also changed whenever it suited her: when water leaked into the sunroom during a rainstorm, I was suddenly told to "tell Sam." Sam was arrogant and sarcastic. When I pointed out that the materials being installed were not the ones I had ordered, he raised his voice at me. In fairness, Renee answered texts quickly and came out promptly when I asked her to check something, and the two workers with Sam were respectful and did the best work they could. Still, between the surprise costs, the contradictory communication rules, and the attitude from the project manager, this was a stressful and Terrible experienc.

This poor deck hadn't been cleaned in years--long enough that I was considering charging admission as a mossy nature preserve. One afternoon with Handy Marin and suddenly I'm looking at wood grain I forgot existed. It's like depreciation reversed before my eyes. As if restoring the deck weren't enough, he also re-hung the wayward shutters on the front of my home. Think of them as irrational markets suddenly corrected--now everything looks balanced, stable, and dare I say, aesthetically efficient. The work was quick, thorough, and surprisingly affordable--an optimal equilibrium of quality and cost. I rarely give out 5-star reviews (my students will attest to this), but in this case, the marginal utility is through the roof. Handy Marin Services earns my highest recommendation. If you want your home to look less like a neglected externality and more like a well-run economy, call this man immediately.
