MCO Professionals

I'm so grateful that MCO Professionals came to my rescue when I was in a total bind recently and…read morehelped my house sale close on time! I was in the process of selling my home when I unexpectedly ended up with three huge holes cut into my basement ceiling (due to some last minute plumbing work requested by the Buyers). On a Friday, with the closing scheduled for Monday morning, Michael and his guys patched the holes and painted them with leftover paint I had. Unfortunately, the paint I gave them was not a good match at all. In addition, the upstairs AC quit working at the same time and it was hot as Hades up there! Although Michael doesn't generally work on weekends, he came out the next day, on a Saturday, and he brought along his HVAC man. The two of them got everything fixed. The ceiling looked like new and the AC was working great by the time the two of them left. I was the last to leave. At the exact moment I was backing down the driveway, the Buyers showed up to do their final walkthrough! (Talk about cutting it close!) Anyway, apparently, they were happy with everything they saw because the closing went off without a hitch the following Monday morning. I plan to use MCO Professionals for future work. I was very pleased with the quality of the jobs that were done; the price was the best of all the estimates I received; and Michael is very personable and easy to work with.

Michael does pitiful substandard drywall work. I would never hire him again. We hired him to…read moredrywall our basement for 3 rooms and a bathroom. He was supposed to have a crew working but it was only him. He would show up at 10:30 or 11:00am and only work until 2:30 or 3:00 and take an hour lunch. This has taken over 6 weeks and the work is still not done right. The mudding and sanding looks terrible and no amount of paint will cover this up. Michael will ask for final payment before work is finished. Unfortunately we paid him so we've learned the hard way. I have plenty of pictures to show how bad this work is.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT use this company for any painting needs. Very inconsistent service and very overpriced. My 5 year old could paint better than this company does.

Soooooo disappointed by this incident. All these bad…read morereviews are completely accurate and just like what I dealt with. Shaun, the owner, gave me a really good quote. First impression of him is that he is friendly, confident and trustworthy. He spins all these great stories about how he painted for the singer, Usher, and the Atlanta Braves, and some other stories about how badly his previous clients have treated him. Well, now it is obvious that it was deserved. The first day (of what was supposed to be a one-day project),went great. He and his assistant were right on time. They got over half finished- but then had to leave unexpectedly at 2 pm. The following 10 days were a continual stream of him showing up 4-6 hours late, if at all, and/or excuses why he could not stay long. Once, when he actually did show up, he said he wasn't going to do any work because he wanted his assistant to do it, who was off that day. I mean, seriously??? My opinion is that this guy is, among other things, a " job stacker ". This is when contractors give great quotes, but take on way too many jobs at one time. They drag out all the jobs, only doing a little bit on each one at a time, but just enough that their clients don't cancel. They keep a continual flow of lies and lame, bogus excuses about sick relatives and so on, to their clients, to make their clients feel sorry for them, and ashamed to confront them. Finally, though, I did confront him, after living with my house in total disarray, and not being able to leave or plan anything outside my home (because I was always in anticipation of him supposedly coming back to finish). I told him that it had to be done the next day, or I would just finish it myself. Again, as is his pattern, he promised, then flaked. He showed up late the next day, did 30 minutes of work, packed up his stuff and left right after he sent me to Home Depot for more paint. My husband, who was working from home that day, had a long conversation with him while I was gone, and, after being adequately conned and lied to by Shaun, he gave him a check for the work that had be completed, with the understanding that Shaun would return 2 days later to finish. That day is today. Shaun showed up late, without his assistant. He came to the door, and said he needed to finish his coffee., and sat in his truck for a half an hour, until I went out and asked him what was going on. He came inside, worked for 30 minutes, then returned to his truck for over another hour, on a "business call". After he came in, I told him we were done. There are numerous touchups that need done, but I never want to see this guy again. He didn't move the furniture back or put the switch plates back on. There are a couple walls that need completely repainted because of roll marks, and some just shoddy places that look like a child painted them. I received no apology before he left, and I really think he was napping in the truck, waiting for me to fire him so he could go. Just astonishing.

From the start with pressures washing, to prepping our home, to the actual painting, they pay super attention to every detail. FANTASTIC - could not be happier....Amazing work and attention to detail…read more I saw Pro Painters of North Georgia painting in a friend's neighborhood and after watching the work they were doing I decided to give them a call. Best call I have ever made, Slade when doing estimate caught everything I knew was wrong and found more. His estimates were in great detail and description. When we decided to have Pro Painters of North Georgia paint house the neighbors were all amazed at the time and detail to prep work. One neighbor across the street started his paint job at the same time. It was amazing to see the differences in prep work and detail of work done. Neighbors house done in less than 3 days, mine took closer to 8-10. Attention to detail and quality of work was obvious and neighbors all asked who painted the house. I don't think you can find a better company to work on your home or investment. They take the time to listen and care about their work. The team is professional and hard working.
