We had Southern Painting do a full transformation on our home's exterior paint a couple weeks ago. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Tim Durant came out to provide an estimate within days of my initial inquiry call. Less than a week from that friendly meeting, he had a team out starting the job. Overall, we were happy with the timeliness and quality of the job and price point. I'd recommend Southern Painting to anyone and everyone in the area. read more

Tim Durant is an excellent rep for Southern Painting. Friendly, professional, and trustworthy. The painting crew is cut from the same mold. These guys are the gold standard for everything a contractor should be. I'm sure you can find an outfit that will undercut their prices, but down the road, you'll regret making that decision. They use top quality paint, their skill and workmanship is unmatched. Their reputation is excellent for all the right reasons. They earned it, one customer at a time. I liked the crew so much, I provided lunch for them all 3 days! read more

I can't say enough about the quality and professionalism that comes from working with Southern Painting. When I inquired about a quote, I was shocked when the person who came to my home to assess our job was the owner of the company! Kent made us feel like we were their biggest customer and kept us informed of the progress being made every day of the job. Douglas, Carlos, and Sandra did an exceptional job on our home and paid close attention to the little details that other painting companies would surely overlook or rush through. We will definitely be using Southern Painting again - probably when we paint the outside of our house! read more

I'm very late with my review, but we had Kent and his crew at our house to paint the downstairs earlier this year, near the summertime. Not only did they do an incredibly thorough job, but it was about as seamless and efficient as I could've ever imagined. The team worked quickly and were as nice as they could be. Kent's attention to detail to help guide them to do the job right the first time was incredible, and they were done way before I would've assumed. When it was all finished, their cleanup was a snap and aside from the smell of new paint, you'd have never guessed they were even there. Incredibly pleased with this company, Kent and his team's service, and we'll be using them again in the future when we paint our upstairs. Save yourself the trouble and do business with these folks. You won't regret it. read more

Reviews are not usually my thing, but the quality and service of Southern Painting went far beyond expectations, and certainly warrants some praise. We recently purchased a true 1940's home, with terrible plaster ceilings and tons of "character." We sought quotes from three companies for a whole home painting, and removal of the horrendous plaster ceilings. Nick P. came out and quoted the project on the spot, with actual costs for every single line item. Nothing was hidden, and his knowledge of the industry was immediately apparent. They were not the lowest quote we received, but very close, and very reasonable given the amount of work. We ultimately decided to go with Southern Painting, in large part because of the personal service and responsiveness of Nick P. They were the only company willing to bring in a 5-man team to tackle our project, the only one that explained the process and warranty in exceptional detail, and the only one that we immediately felt had the experience and knowledge to tackle the unique challenges of an older home. Within a week of our decision, Nick and his team started work. To say they did a good job would be an understatement. The quality of work was exceptional. The old plaster ceilings, that used to resemble an upside-down lemon meringue pie top, were seamlessly flattened and look amazing. Nick P. helped with color selection and was accessible and responsive throughout the entire process. We received daily updates and photos of the progress. In total, the project took exactly how long they said it would, and cost exactly what they quoted. We could not be happier with our decision, and highly recommend Southern Painting to anyone looking for an honest and hardworking company that excels at customer service. They want to earn your business, and it shows. It also doesn't hurt that their quality of work is truly exceptional. If you need painting, give them a call, you will not be disappointed. read more

This company is AMAZING!!!! I have a large (1/2 acre) fenced in back yard. I did research & picked Southern Painting based on their reviews, price & obvious knowledge. Once it was painted it looked great and I paid them promptly. 5-6 weeks later I noticed that there was some peeling in areas of the fence. A whole team came out (including the paint provider) to determine what needed to be done to fix the problem. Their decision was to strip & scrape the fence & repaint.........no cost to me!!!!! It has now been 3 months & it still looks great. I will be calling on them in the future for all my personal & business painting needs. It is very rare these days to find a company with such impeccable integrity. read more

What a great job this company did on the exterior of our house! The sales manager, Tim, and the crew, led by Eric, stayed in constant communication with us, leading up to the project, during the project, and making sure we are satisfied after the project! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Highly recommend this team from Southern Painting, whether inside or out! read more

Tim and Southern Painting did a terrific job painting the upstairs and downstairs of our new lake house. We had just completed major renovations and were hoping to get the painting done by Thanksgiving. Tim got us scheduled with a big crew and they just did the best painting job we have ever received. Great communication, clean and organized. We could not have asked for more. We have already recommended them to neighbors and will definitely use them again for all our painting and staining needs. read more

My experience with Southern Painting, and more specifically, Nick Prochak was a five star experience. We compared four different painting companies in Atlanta to make sure we were getting a good price and a quality job. Our house was built in the early 20's and we wanted a painter who would help us preserve and protect this historic home. Nick and his team were all very professional and kept us informed throughout the entire project. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the quality of the job and the professionalism of the team! They weren't the cheapest of everyone we compared, but we certainly got a very good value for the price we paid. It's true, you get what you pay for! Will certainly recommend Nick and Southern Painting to anyone who needs a great painter!! Thank you Nick and thank you Southern Painting!!! read more

Let's be honest, getting the inside of your house painted isn't "fun". However, Kent & his team made it as seamless & pleasant as possible. From the initial consultation, through painting with meticulous care for our home & furnishings, through the follow up & cheerful touch ups, they were wonderful.. They also painted the exterior of our home & deck with amazing results. Can't recommend them highly enough!! read more

Quality of service exceeded our expectations. Best price, too! They will be called for all our painting needs.

Fantastic and Outstanding artistry! We purchased a home that really needed updates, brightening, and modernizing. We chose Southern Painting based on Google reviews. The scope of our job involved painting the kitchen, 2 story den, foyer, hall, master, and master bath. We got every bit of the 5 star service that was represented by other's reviews. Kent was fantastic in customer service, always checking in with us, always doing quality control, and always explaining what comes next. Kent and his teams were very kind, hard working, and true craftsmen and artists. Every tiny detail was taken care of. Now, to put my review in perspective, my wife and I are very detail oriented, and I have a background in home improvement and skills, I just couldn't do the quality and speed that this crew did. I will do some other small rooms, but they hit it hard, fast, with excellent detail and quality. My wife and I could not be more pleased. The work performed on our home made it look new again. Well done, well done indeed. We will have them back in the spring to do the outside as well. Update (7/28/21)... We had Southern Painting back to paint the exterior of the house. It looks fantastic and elegant. Kent worked with me in the color selection, and we even drove the neighborhood looking at color schemes. The house looks so elegant now. Several neighbors stopped over and said the same. The house was 14 years old and had extensive wood rot around the windows and trim. I thought I'd need a carpenter to first repair the house, but Southern did it all from start to finish. The final cost was just as estimated. I feel bad for the crew though, as we've had a lot of rain, and they had to stop several times due to pop up thunderstorms. In the end, everything got done perfectly. They even painted the vent ports and little details I hadn't even considered. I'm very pleased and would have them back for projects in the future anytime. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Southern Painting! We were most impressed with how easy they made the customer experience, and how seamlessly and professionally they managed all the logistics and our various paint color choices and preferences. From the first phone call, my experience with the team at Southern Painting was professional and exceptional. After meeting with three companies, I selected Southern Painting for my interior painting needs because I was impressed with their attention to detail, on-time at every meeting, recommendations on painting my banister with a superior product all the way to the finished results. The team was in & out in two days and did an incredible job! I highly recommend Southern Painting for anyone looking for professional painting services. read more

Kent and his team are top notch! We were having our entire home repainted top to bottom after moving in and wanted to make sure the job was done right as the home is old and needed extra attention to detail. Kent made great recommendations regarding finishes that would be best for our walls and trim based on the age of the home, and his team went over and beyond prepping the walls before painting to make sure they looked as good as possible. We got photos and updates from Kent during the entire process and were very pleased with the results! I will definitely be using Southern Painting again in the future and would gladly recommend them to anyone. read more

We had the interior of our home painted by Southern Painting with Nick Prochak managing the work. Nick was very professional and easy to work with. He was on site each morning and afternoon to check on progress and any issues. We did the entire main floor which is about 7 rooms and a stairwell. All work was done on time and completed in 5 days. Quality of paint job was very good. I would highly recommend Southern Painting. read more

Nick and David were awesome! This was the 3rd painter I have used and the first one that did what he said he was going to do and did a fabulous job. I am extremely detailed oriented and Nick was very patient and made sure to exceed my expectations. Nick was in constant communication with me before, during, and following up on painting my fence. He went above and beyond to ensure that we selected the correct type of paint for my application and took extreme care to protect other surfaces and plants. Additionally, he personally came back and did the minor touch ups himself. My fence is now perfect!! I would highly recommend Southern Painting, especially Nick, to anyone. read more

We checked out several painting companies and found Southern Painting to be close to the least expensive, but not quite the cheapest. But they were way more professional and when we saw their work, we knew that we made the right decision. They were awesome and we've recommended them to a friend and a family member, both of whom hired them. We give them our highest recommendation. read more

We worked with Tim at Southern Painting to have the exterior of our house painted. He was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to any and all of our requests. Southern Painting did such a fantastic job painting a bunch of rooms inside of my house last year, I asked them to come back and paint the outside this year! Kent provides a very detailed quote - in fact, I sort of teased him about how that detailed quote sheet would translate into higher costs but out it is the greatest tool ever! You can choose exactly what you want them to paint. Maybe save a little money if you want to do some of the job yourself which I did! This year, they painted the outside of the house and stained our new decks. Kent is so easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied with the job. I will be using them for all my painting/staining needs in the future. read more

Having worked with other painting crews in the past, working with these guys felt like working with a family member who cares about every detail as much as you do. Walking through all of the options from paint types to shades to brands...they ensured I found every combo I could dream up. Nick takes extra care in reviewing their work and communicating through out the process. We were not in town when they painted and I received regular texts and pictures of the progress. He made sure to check twice on all details throughout which I especially appreciated. These guys truly care about making your house a home! Please use them as we need more businesses like this to set the standard! read more

I tried to get a quote and even though their map shows my area as being served, that is not the case. Please fix your service area map.

Nick at Southern Painting was very transparent about the job and pricing from the very beginning. When I received a lower quote, he was able to walk me through a comparison of the services and even brought down his quote to help with my budget. He was in constant communication with us about progress and the team did great work each day. Not the cheapest service out there, but definitely great quality. read more

Kent Franklin and his crew did an excellent job painting my kitchen cabinets. The crew came on time each day and were very courteous to the extend of doing an excellent job cleaning up at the end of the project. Mr. Franklin kept in touch and kept us apprised of the work that would be done the next day. I was a bit apprehensive about having the cabinets painted because I did not want them to look like a DIY project. The cabinets look like new brand new cabinets. I would highly recommend this team for anyone thinking of having cabinets painted. read more
