The employees are friendly, helpful and know where everything is located in the store. The manager is always on the floor greeting customers and the cashiers & baggers are fast and courteous. Their pizza (cooked in the store) is delicious and really low priced. So are their subs. They have the cheapest prices on fresh haddock that I've seen. I always buy their brands and am never disappointed (especially their soda and potato chips! Parking is tough during peak hours, but I don't usually have a problem if I go after 7:00 pm or early in the morning, when it's not so busy.

Market Basket is probably the best single location in nashua for great, cheap food. You can get a…read morefull cheeseburger for $3, fish sandwich for $4, $5 pounds of flavored chicken, tons of sushi options and tons of food options. Its basically a hidden restaurant within a grocery store! You can google their expansive sushi menu, which is 2 pages, and the rest of their menu is about 5 pages. This is counting the "made to order" stuff; the prepackaged foods aren't even on the menu. They probably have a solid 12+ pages of offerings. This isn't even counting the fresh sliced cheese and meat you can get over at the butcher or deli. Market Basket has a lot going for it.

The woman that attended to me refused to make eye contact when I greeted her and when I requested the items I needed behind the counter. The only time she interacted was when she asked for my ID. Second experience there are two men behind the counter, I requested the items I needed behind the counter, I gave him a sandwich bag full of change and let him know the amount in the baggie and also gave him $2 extra dollars. After counting the change he said I was all set, but if I gave you $2.75 in change, plus $2 dollar bills, my total was $3.78, I definitely should've had change but the man rushed me out because someone was in line behind me. The ambiance is not for any one of color or other nationalities is definitely the type of energy I got from my experience, definitely never going back to this establishment.

Great family owned market/deli/beer/tobacco mart. I've been…read moregoing here since I was a kid and it was only a tobacco destination and not even half of what it is now. It has always been a great state line place to get beer wine and cigarettes but over the years it has evolved into a goto destination for all the above mentioned products and more. Recently they have significantly expanded their craft brew selection. They have also expanded their wine area but the beer is still has the most variety. They also have a dedicated hot sauce area that seems to keep expanding too. The k-cup selection is fantastic and you can mix and match so you an try something without havong to buy a whole box The tobacco (cigarettes, cigars and tobacco) selection seems decent although I can't fully comment on that. The deli serves up some excellent offerings. The have a whole line of signature sandwiches. They have some cakes and cookies too. Their homemade coleslaw is out of this world. They have marinated meats and some cooked entrees and beans. They serve pizza and breakfast too. They have real root beer on tap that you pour yourself. The coffee station has a huge variety of Green Mountain flavors. Its definitely a great place to stop for any of the things I've mentioned. They do a good job of handling the crowds at the registers so you can run in and get out quick.
