But there's not as many people at these courts so I feel like you can definitely get a court eventually. The bathroom in the park is relatively clean and the toilets are functional (i.e. they flush). There is no sanitary pads trashcan in the stalls but there is a trash can outside the bathroom so you can dispose of them there. The soap dispenser in the bathroom is broken (but that's not unexpected for a public bathroom). There's a water fountain next to the bathroom so you can fill up your water bottle there.

There is space for a variety of sports: baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts. There are walking paths as well as picnic areas and a park for kids. We saw a little league team practicing so this park seems like a place where a lot of sports league games take place over the weekend. The restrooms were pretty interesting: they were individual restrooms with a slick and modern exterior but the interior was similar to every other public restroom you'd see. They were also not well-maintained as the connected hand sanitizer dispenser was empty and the hand wash station was not working. There was a good amount of parking but I'm sure it could get packed if there's a tournament of some sort going on. This looks like a great park if you're looking to stay active.

No tennis courts exist so I'm not sure what other YELPERS are noting but they have lost it...Back to the park so when it's the Summer Solstice in June you could run through the park naked but I think the neighbors would turn you in.. And since no fire pit's exist starting a bon fire to celebrate will end in an arrest. So I'll just grab some spiritual food and enjoy the sunseting on the longest day of the year... Parking, local clubs, and a killer sunset view that almost makes up for double faults. And with Lincoln Park's trailheads across the street, you can either warm up with a jog or disappear into the woods after a humiliating loss. Lincoln park's wildlife is also the reason pickle ball will probably not take over these parks (at least that's what the west seattle blog chatter mentions). West Seattle may be its own island of stubborn pride, but these courts? They're a love letter to the city's quirks--competitive, scenic, and always worth showing up for.

Gas Works Park is one of my favorite parks for its view of Lake Union. However, the view of the…read morelake at the park on the other side, Lake Union Park is not too shabby. The location of Lake Union Park is at the end of the South Lake Union neighborhood. The park is a bit overshadowed by construction nearby. The area is busy since the roads across the street leads towards I-5, but the park itself does not seem to be too crowded. The park houses the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI), so that is one good reason to visit this park. The museum is a great place to learn about the history of Seattle. The park itself is great for its open space and nice views of downtown and the Space Needle nearby in addition to the aforementioned Lake Union. This park is definitely a favorite of many for different reasons. I saw some folks jumping into the lake from the bridge. While others like to get wet in the wading pools here. Even saw a flock of geese enjoying the park on a warm sunny summer day. Personally, I like watching the action on Lake Union. It is full of boats, kayaks, sailboats and seaplanes. If you are in South Lake Union, visiting Lake Union Park while in the area is worth the walk. This park's many views gives you a sense of the beauty of Seattle all around.

This is a view of downtown Seattle, just a pull off exit on Admiral for a small stretch on the…read moreshoulder. It gives you a great view, day or night. They have a couple coin operated binoculars to see the view up close. Usually see people making out here since the mood for a makepoint point is high. Take notes if you're planning a date. There's a totem pole here for some history if you're interested. The best way to get here is to be headed uphill on Admiral. It's near impossible to reach while going downhill towards the bridge.

Don't go there. There's nothin to see, aside from trees and bushes. It was just a waste of time.read more
