    Small tea is large.

I've never been a fan of White Castle. It used to be the only place open 24 hours, so I had to shove them down sometimes. Now, there are many options. I came here because, well, it was handy and quick, and I've tried just about every other place in Marysville. Gave them another chance. I had low expectations, and they were met. Sliders: I don't know why people crave them. Incredibly thin "burgers" of grey meat, on a bun that gets mushy and collapses. The watery onion flavor is a low point, not a high point, for me. My first one I barely choked down. I added my usual burger toppings, mayo and ketchup, to the second. They helped, but still, blah. Next I tried a "savory grilled bbq chicken" slider. It was better, but not much. The bun held up better, the chicken was generic, as was the sauce. Finally, a chicken breast slider. This wasn't bad, with better chicken, and I should have gotten several of them. I did add the corn dog "nibblers," and these were pretty close to festival-type corn dogs, if you're into that (I am.) I dipped them in ketchup and honey mustard sauce, but even plain they were good. There's nothing healthy here to eat. Well, there is the veggie slider, but if it bears the same relationship to vegetables that a normal slider bears to beef... Besides, no one on a diet is going to White Castle. The vaunted sweet tea was slightly sweet, and very watery. The service was super good and friendly. The place was messy and there were flies. I can't imagine ever going back, to any White Castle. If you want a slider, so many places have them now, and much better. Even Steak and Shake's are far better. For really good small burgers, go to Crabill's in Urbana.

    My first White Castle, what!!

Feeling frustrated that I didn't get my random fry with my order of onion chips. ‍it should be a mandatory requirement. Just sayin.

Famous sliders are nasty. Chicken sliders are a lot better. It's your average White Castle. Place looks cleaner than most White Castles.

BEWARE! The pour your own self service taps for draft beer are 2X or higher normal beer prices…read more I was part of a 16 man golf group that stopped in a few days ago for some eaten drinks after a day of golf and made the mistake of falling. Pray to the waitresses sales pitch for the pour your own tap gimmick for beers. They need to warn you ahead of time that the beers or are $10-$12 each for us 12 ounce glass of beer. You pay by the ounce maybe some of the other choices were even higher than one dollar per ounce. Ended up having three beers that cost $30 My total for a simple meal plus beers plus tax plus tip was $59 just for me myself For just simple bar, food and a couple beers. That's a little extreme in my book. I am from out of town and will unlikely never be back ever. I just wanted to warn anyone else.

We tried Leon's for the first time last weekend. The hostess staff definitely needs some training…read moreon actually hosting people. We arrived and waited over 10 mins before we were acknowledged. Once they were ready to seat us the girl asked "will you be leaving by 630?" Considering it was almost 5 pm my response was "I guess it depends on how quickly the kitchen and staff move..." The food was decent. Not great, but not terrible. My husband said their wings were actually really good. Our kiddo got a burger and said it was average. I ordered their "nachos" which are just potato chips with toppings. They were just okay. Considering this place has been open for years and we just went last weekend, I don't think we'd return on the simple fact they're charging nearly $4 for a soda and we felt like the food portions were small for the price. It's not our vibe as we aren't frequenters of sports bars or drinking.

I'd heard about this place from coworkers, but it is well out of my way so I never quite made it…read morehere. The other day I had extra time, so I came over. It is a little dive bar in a little town, and I mean that in a good way. Hard to even tell if it is open; not much in the way of signage or lights. But the locals know, and if you're a visitor like me, hey, you came all this way, might as well get out of your car and try the door. I came in the early afternoon, and there were a few customers but it wasn't busy. Inside it is fairly dark, and small, with a big bar and a few tables, plus a stage. Lots of neon lights. Decent menu of the usual bar food, plus Chinese food. Wings, burgers, subs, salads, fried apps, etc., but also fried dumplings, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, stir-fries, and sesame chicken. I wanted to try many things, but stuck with two: fried dumplings, and wings. The dumplings were quickly fried, decent little pockets, with teriyaki sauce. The wings were small but very meaty, and crispy yet with lots of sauce. Not enough to drip off or overwhelm things. I got the spicy bourbon BBQ, which has a touch of heat and tons of flavor. Very, very good wings, worth a detour. Good service, good prices, big portions. Canned drinks. Cash only, so plan ahead. Not really a family place, despite the Leinenkugel "family bucket night" signs, but you could bring the kids during the day. Good as a dive bar, good as a small town restaurant, and good wings. I'll find a way to get back out here.

Definitely bar that serves food; Not really a restaurant. Smelled like smoke. Hoping it was one…read moreof those dive bars that is actually a hidden gem. Food was pretty good but not anything to get excited about. Server was very nice but food was slow and we were the only ones in the place. Server forgot waters, didn't offer to-go box, etc. Not sure they serve a lot of food there. So if you are passing through and have some time to kill, food decent, and they are friendly and have beer and pool tables. So, go for those things.
