He was super responsive and sent me links to the paperwork I needed to have before the appointment. Setting up an appointment was super easy. Upon arrival, I had good first impressions of the shop. Trendy, clean and friendly environment. There were no bad attitudes in sight. Just positive vibes. (I have been to many shops before, not one has EVER had this welcoming feeling.) Paul was super friendly and made my kiddo feel super comfortable (along with mommy and daddy). From picking out jewelry to the actual piercing process, he made my kiddo super comfortable and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you. This is a very clean studio for piercing and tattooing even though my first experience there was with piercing only. I have enough experience to know a clean set up when I see one! I came in as a walk-in and although the owner, Paul, had an appointment coming in, I was able to schedule with him within a few days. Paul is absolutely amazing! He is patient, even though I changed up what piercing I was getting when I got there! I have seen other shops/piercers become impatient, even cancelling appointments with people when they change they minds (not me that time LOL), but Paul was very understanding and worked with me and we got into it! He explained everything as he went, several times, so I understood completely even though I'm very experienced at piercings. He was quick, but very exact when he did the piercing. I've had other piercings that were much more painful that didn't need to be. Looking back, if I had had Paul do some of those piercings they wouldn't have been near as painful. He explained the healing process, provided the wound healing solution with the piercing, and advised about everything regarding replacement jewelry. He is an awesome piercer, his studio is CLEAN and beautiful, he provides all the information and options you could possibly ask for up front, he takes the care and time to explain every step to you as he goes, and I don't think you could ask for a better experience rather you are getting your first piercing or your 20th. I HIGHLY recommend Paula and Uplifted Body Piercing. I'll be going back for my replacement jewelry and for further piercings in my ears because he is just that good. I've had piercings from Gainesville to Miami and Paul is one of the best and least painful. You will not regret going there or taking someone there for their first piercing. Sorry for any typos! He was very precise and the tattoo was quick and easy- literally takes longer to set up for the tattoo than it takes to actually tattoo something this small. I got saniderm for the first time and definitely like that this is the new norm for tattoos. He explained how it helps tattoos heal faster and not scab. It worked really well and my tattoo looks fantastic and isn't scabbing which amazed me. Tattoo was $75 (artist minimum I believe) plus tip. I also wanted dermals in my stomach However Shannon insisted that I wait for my back to heal first because she believed it would have a better chance or healing instead of not saying anything and taking all my money. They treat every customer that comes in like family, and ease any nerves that come with piercing/needles. I came to Pizzazz since I had gotten my ear lobes done prior, but the place I went to was very very sketchy and did an absolutely horrible job using the piercing gun (the piercing hole almost was on the edge of my ear). This piercing job had hurt tremendously, causing me to be very fearful of getting pierced again, but really longed to get them done again since the prior piercings had closed up. Kim explained to me that Pizzazz is unique in that instead of using a machine, Bob uses a needle and does each piercing by hand. To my surprise, the earlobe piercing had almost no pain, unlike a piercing machine. In fact, the piercing went so well, that I came back again to get both my septum and left nostril done, which both also had little to no pain. Kim also is so amazing in that she provides her number to text if any issues or problems arise. She answers so quickly and is very clear everytime. Anyways back to the piercing ...I got a nose piercing the first time I came and it was such an impulsive move since I was driving by and my sister had previously gotten a piercing and wanted to look at some of their products they had so we went in. Another time I went intentionally to get a second ear piercing next to my first ear piercing I got when I was a little girl. Both times Bob relaxed me and made sure I was comfortable. Reassured me everything would be ok since I get a little nervous and usually close my eyes to disassociate. Both times I got an infection & I was out of town both times for some reason and wasn't able to take care of it properly so that's on me. I was in Ireland after my freshly done nose piercing and wifi/signal was spotty but I was able to text their number for help and Kim was so amazing. She was so nice and responded so quickly. A few days ago before leaving she asked me to stop by the shop to get tea tree oil since it was looking like a pimple on the nose piercing . I had taken that oil to Ireland and she periodically asked me for pictures and walked me through the process. When I got my nose piercing I was in Tampa and also texted her and she responded so quickly . She was reliable and friendly both times assuring me it would be ok. It had puss and hurt to touch so it was hard to wash and take care of but my bf was able to help me with her texted instructions since honestly I'm a little squeamish . I thank them for always providing exceptional customer service even when I am miles away.
