Very unprofessional. If you are not the typical family dynamic then stay clear of this place. We brought in two foster children and had guardian ship paperwork, consent forms signed and notarized, and still got refused service for one of the minors ear piercing due to the guardianship paperwork not being court ordered and notarized. The placement is an out of state placement and that state does not do their out of state placements that way so there was nothing we could do once being in the studio. On emails and message correspondence before making the appointment it was spoken to bring their photo ID, birth certificate, and guardianship paperwork (nothing stating the guardianship paperwork needing to be notarized by the state was mentioned). Before even entering the studio the gentleman was very rude stating that only one person can come in with their parent or guardian. Both of the minors have the same guardian so it seems ridiculous to expect a minor to stand outside unattended while waiting for the other to get done with their appointment. Then once we get inside he keeps badgering us stating that he explained this multiple times in the emails and keeps saying that he needs court orders for them to get their ears pierced. He would not let us finish a sentence and kept cutting us off midsentence to just repeat himself, "This is why I sent you so many emails about this." This was one of the kids first time getting her ears pierced and 3 of us were going to be getting ours done with her to celebrate... once she was denied service we stated that nobody would be getting their ears pierced today. You cannot expect us to be okay with one child not getting her ears pierced only due to the fact that you will not accept their legal paperwork, and everyone else still continue to get their ears pierced.... it wasn't happening. So we drove all the way down to St. Pete to go to another tattoo shop that came highly recommended and will never return here for tattoos or piercings, which is sad because this shop came highly recommended to us. But this experience left such a bad taste in our mouths it is really unfair to any family who doesn't have a typical mother father figure in their life and is trying to do something fun for their 13th birthday. read more

Took my daughter to get her eyebrow pierced for her 15th bday. This is the third time I have taken my daughter to Paul for piercings and as usual Paul was impeccably professional, courteous and kind. he is thorough in his explanation of everything he is doing, he makes sure to explain what the piercing will entail, and what will need to be done for aftercare. But the main reason that I keep going back to Paul for myself, and my daughter is the cleanliness of the business and the care that Paul takes to ensure that everything remains sterile throughout the entire process! As long as he is around he will be the person I personally will go to for myself and my daughter and he is the person I will always recommend. read more

I've had several piercings done by Paul and almost all of them are still going strong and awesome. My double nostrils are now stretched and still extremely even, my philtrum is centered perfectly and still one of my favorites. The only one that has since been retired is my tongue piercing to make way for my split tongue. Each where such a good experience with great jewelry that I still enjoy. He was very professional and made me feel so relaxed and informed and took the extra measure to insure that the placement was as close to perfect as it could be. Always will recommend him if you're looking for a great piercer. read more

He walked me through the steps so I knew what to expect and was very knowledgeable about the healing process! I couldn't ask for a better experience! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would! I highly recommend Paul to anyone looking for a piercing and I will be back when I decide to get another piercing!(: read more

I've been going to Paul for about 6 years now. He is extremely skilled. He doesn't lie to you and say a piercing isn't going to hurt, he tells you yeah it hurts but it's temporary pain and is done after a few seconds. I've even had him do some more "personal" piercings and he was very professional. He is the best in the Tampa Bay area. read more
