I guess the only reason I come here is because it's the only full service car wash in Sherman. Another half-assed cleaning job. Carpets never are completely vacuumed. Inside wipe down, hit and miss. One door was obviously missed. They used to wipe around your doors, especially at the bottom where a lot of dirt builds up, not today. Exterior back of vehicle was not wiped down. $30 and of course they only had one lane open so I was there over an hour. I won't do it again. Their employees don't care. I stop going here a few years back because they are the worst carwash anywhere. Since my wife and I had to travel for our granddaughters graduation and being time restraint I decided to give them a chance again. I spent $30.00 for the Grand Carwash and only got $5.00 worth of service. As I left I saw that my dash, doors, console had not been cleaned. My floormat on the driver side was not in place correctly. I got home and inspected my whole vehicle, and I realized that it was the same crummy Carwash it has always been. I ask the guy to vacuum the dog hair up in the vehicle it was barely vacuumed. Just got taken for $30.00 again. I never will go back. I will drive to Plano or Allen to get my vehilce cleaned. At least they cleaned the windows. The outside looks dirty. I guess they use recycled water. What a disappointment this afternoon was. read more

The staff was rude to me on my visit. They are at least $30 more expensive than another place down the road. They will offer a coupon but not on the same day as your visit. After they told me the price I headed down the road to another oil change place in Denison and they charged me $53 for the same oil change that whistle stop was going to do for $86. Oh, and they were polite and not rude jerks! read more

After a year or so, I thought again, I would give this business an opportunity to do a good job on my car wash, but it was half-assed at best! I got The Works package which to me means front and back, inside and out. For the most part it looked ok, but then the windows are streaked, so I had to redo all of them myself. The seats are leather, and they wiped off the front seats but not the back. I just do not know what keeps this business in business. That was the last and final opportunity with this business. Then when I called back she told me the back seats are not included in the package, well... that maybe should be listed on the menu packages before purchasing! I WILL NOT GO BACK. Brought car in for an oil change and when I got it home oil was all over my floor. They left the oil cap off and came very close to running the motor dry. The manager or owner does not have a clue on how to run the business or fire bad employees. Do not stop here for an oil change or a wash. Worst place in Sherman to take your car. Well, I decided to bring my 2011 Mustang GT in for a car wash today (10/14/17). As I enter the parking lot, I see several employees standing around playing hacky sack, which they where slow, no big deal. I hand the keys over to an employee, and walk inside to wait. Now, my car does have aftermarket exhaust. While I am waiting, I hear my car sitting there just revving up over and over. I look outside, and sure enough there are employees sitting there just revving up my car, standing around it looking at it. Then as they go to pull it in, they rev it up pretty high and ride the clutch on the way into the wash.. I mention my unhappiness to an employee, and his response is, "you know they only make $8/hr right?".. Surprised by the response, I state that there hourly rate isn't my concern.. and state they shouldn't be sitting around revving up customers cars.. he follows up with, "People complain about this all the time, but our managers don't care, and neither do the employees. We have a very good insurance policy" So, if you have any form of a performance car, or a car you care about.. steer clear from here! read more

My husband was the one that went today and it's bad enough that I am posting his review of the service. For starters, I was not told the length of the detailing process. Had I been accurately told how long it would take rather than being given an obviously false "Hour and a half" by the staff member I first spoke to then I wouldn't be so upset. To then have them ignore me for two solid hours, only for me to realize that my car had not moved while several other cars had been tended to and finished in the interim was just insulting. I went to the counter and asked what the turnaround time should be, at which point they seemed surprised...Because they had forgotten I was waiting. At some point there was a so-called mix-up which resulted in them thinking I had dropped the car off for detailing, despite the fact that I had spoken directly to a woman at the counter and stated I was waiting for it. She told the staff via hand radio that I would be waiting, and then they promptly filed the order as a drop-off, meaning they did NOT prioritize working on my car. So, after handing my car off at 11:48, after a two hour wait, they finally got someone to start on my car...Eventually. It was finished after 4:30, or I should say SHOULD have been finished. Upon entering the car the seats were still wet enough from shampoo to soak through my shirt back and pants, the rear view mirror was uncleaned, the rear window was covered in what seemed to be chemical powder or dust (likely dried from a spray of some sort during the interior detailing), and every reflective surface had water spots. So not only was my car NOT delivered in a reasonable time frame, not only was my nearly $100 investment ($95.99, I won't be forgetting that number for some time) a waste due to poor service, but the investment of my personal time and money was squandered due to a shoddy, half-hearted effort. And what apology did I receive? I received a dismissive shrug and a "Sorry, it happens" from the staff, made all the worse by the fact that I was handed off to a fellow who I couldn't actually understand due to his accent. If I were to rate my customer service experience with the WhistleStop Car Spa & Lube, I would say it was among the worst customer experiences I've had in a long time. And the sad part is, this is the second time I've been to them, with similar results the first time! I tried to give them a second chance, and they wasted my time AND failed to finish the job AGAIN! read more

I'm really disappointed I paid $39 for their BEST wash and still had bird poop on my car, windows looked like they used a dirty rag on them driving at night I couldn't even see. Vaccum job was bad and I had to come home and wipe my dash down myself because it was still covered in DUST and you could see spots here and there where he used armor oil so it REALLY stood out where he DIDN'T clean. I'm so pissed that I wasted my time and money! Save your cash folks and find a 12yr old to do it for you, they could do a much better job!!! This is the best car wash we've ever received, and we have lived all over. Good attention to detail, polite attendants, and left our car smelling amazing! We have dogs, so our car can smell less than fresh. But over two weeks later, it still smells good!!! If we lived closer, we would frequent this place more! read more

On 05/14/2019 I got my cleaned and paid $24.99 it was Senior Citizens day. My garage door opener was stolen. The manager claimed she looked at the camera and did not see any type of theft. Well I know it was in there when I pulled in and not it is missing it is not in my car. They didn't clean the cup holders and scratched my door. Would NEVER recommend this to anyone. Warn your parents if they are elderly they will take a chance of getting things stolen. read more

Dollar for dollar the worst car wash I've ever had. For $20 they offer what you could get at similar places for $5-$7, but I would have been upset spending $5 on the wash they gave me. Their rags were so dirty I had to wipe away the streaks when I got home, /after/ I had to re-vaccumm the seats. I will never waste money here again. read more

Took my truck in to get it washed/cleaned. First off, the roller brush that's supposed to clean the windshield and top of truck didn't even touch my truck. It just spun right above it. Told the lady at the counter and she said, "Just check it after they dry to make sure it's clean." Ok, I can agree with that. I'm not a complainer. When my truck cleared the wash, it sat in the drying area for 15 min before anyone started drying it. Once the person started drying he couldn't have been slower than molasses on a cold day. It took him FOREVER to dry/clean my truck. He was more interested in what was going on around him rather than focusing on cleaning my truck. No less than 5 vehicles that came out after my truck did were dried/cleaned and gone before he was done with my truck. Another thing that was extremely frustrating is there were 2 attendants working in tandem to dry/clean cars. Wouldn't it make sense to have 2 attendants working on trucks?.? When he was finally done with my truck, I did a quick inspection and the inside of my doors had not been cleaned, windshield still had a film on it, the dash/console looked like it wasn't even wiped down, and he did a crappy job on my wheels. I was gonna go back in and have them redo everything but I couldn't sit there another minute. So, I cleaned it up when I got home. Should've read the reviews before taking my truck up there. If you're reading this now, DO NOT take your vehicle to this place to have it cleaned. I'm sure the owners of the other 5 vehicles who got their car done before mine might have a different experience, but, I'll never take my truck there again. read more

I have been here many times and most times I've been satisfied with service, quality and price. Today was not at all acceptable. It took 30 minutes just to get to vacuum and there were only 3 vehicles in front of me. I watched 11 vehicles in the line next to me breeze right through. No one was managing the lines. Then they get to my car and they whizzed through it and left much to be desired. The car wash was good but the interior sucked with wipe down. No manager anywhere in sight. I can't begin to imagine how much money I have spent here over the years washing multiple cars on a regular basis. I always put up with the mediocre cleaning because of the convenience and the fact that they have the market cornered. NO MORE. Today I got The Works(which I always do). It's the $34.99 wash and still doesn't include everything they offer. When I got to my truck the drivers floormat was filthy. It literally looked worse than when I got there. I took it inside and hit it with my hand to show the lady the dirt flying off of it. She called a guy named Joe up to the front to speak with me. He informed me that they don't shampoo, only vacuum. I hit it again and said "This has been vacuumed??" He said it had. Keep in mind that HE was the one that did the inside cleaning of my truck. Then he said that my truck had a lot of dog hair in it. It didn't, because I don't have a dog. He's just a lazy lying asshat that shouldn't be involved in customer service and obviously doesn't take any pride in his work. I'll find somewhere else to take my money. I honestly think they may have mixed up my floor mats with the expedition in the lane next to me. Either way, they won't get my money anymore. The last time I was in not only was my car not clean on the inside but my mats wound up in someone else's car. To say that I was not satisfied with the job they did would be like saying that the Holocaust was a little bad. I got "the works" which I supposed to be their premier wash. My car was "done" in around 15 min. Not a good sign I thought. But who knows, it was my first time there. As soon as I started driving water started splashing up on my windshield and all over my hood. Then I started smelling the "vanilla" fragrance that they spayed in my car. It smelled like someone slow-roasted a dog's asshole inside my vehicle. When I got home I opened my truck to put my emergency kit back in there, only to find that they had not touched it. I have a Honda Accord with a plastic mat so it wouldn't have taken much work. But no, it had leaves and dust still all over it. They didn't even shake it out. Finally when I sat in the passenger seat when I got home I found a line of dust that I could see on my dash. Hands down completely unacceptable for any interior/exterior wash you offer. Much less the "best" package you offer. To sum up, it was a total waste of time and money. read more

Tuesday Free Car with oil change wash is a scam!! Ask how much the oil change is first. They charged me $60.00 , everyone else in town is 40.00. Plus the attendant said we had to pay a extra $5.00 for the free car wash if we wanted soap. The free one supposedly has no soap. I caught him in a Lie !!! I asked the manager if that was true, he said no. But my credit card was indeed charged the extra $5.00. What should of been a 40.00 visit was 68.00. POS!!!! read more

I am still in shock as to what happened. I got an inspection and car wash and was there 2 hours. When I got in my car to leave, my wind shield wiper blades were missing. Obviously, I had them when I arrived or the wouldn't have given me a new inspection sticker. They refused to replace my blades. I will never be back. I do not recommend this place. One because they do not vacuum good. The point for details is also for the car to be spotless in the inside not just the outside. I payed for the works which was 35$. Don't give me wrong the outside of the car was pretty. Went to get my car washed today looked like they were very short staffed today. I paid $33.00 for the package i picked. On a scale of 1 to 10 the outside was a 7 but the inside was a 4, all the door windows were half cleaned lots of lint and not wiped around the edge of the glass. Never toiched the back glass at all. Floor mats still wet and dirty and center console was barley touched. Will probley not go back again. For the cost of the package i paid for i was really not happy. read more
