I was looking for a dozen table-top arrangements for my 50th birthday in the fall of 2019. I gave a…read morebudget range and asked if I could supply my own containers (to help with my budget) and we quickly discussed the general style of what I hoped for (a softer, more wildflower look). I emailed a few pictures after, to give a rough idea. Then trusted it to the shop owner. Boy was I blown away by the outcome! Quality and quantity exceeded my expectations, and everything was ready on time. In fact, we even asked at the last minute if we could pick up the arrangements a day early, and the staff graciously stayed past their closing time to accommodate us. Florists are artists. These ones are very experienced and able to fulfill a wide range of custom styles.

When my friend sent me a photo of the arrangement that she received, I was thrilled. It was beautiful and unique, and perfect for the occasion. Just got back from a trip to Whistler to celebrate my 50th birthday. I rented a condo and wanted to…read morebe able to cook. The rental agency recommended Nesters. Not only can you order on-line but they will deliver and put away the groceries too. (This was key as we didn't have a car and had a very long day of traveling). When you order, the manager Gerry calls you up to go over your order before placing it. I have to say the interactions with Gerry were the best part and one of the favorite parts out our trip. (There is a reason that when I mentioned his name to the rental company they said "Gerry is the best!"). Not only was Gerry super kind and fun to talk to, he made great suggestions on things to get and ideas for what we were missing. (Gotta make sure we had ketchup chips and the Maple Creme cookies were awesome!). They even did a second order for us when we ran out of cookies and milk! When we got to the condo not only were all of the groceries there waiting and put away they even had a birthday card for me. On top of that, Gerry left a special delicious treat for me to help me celebrate! The interactions with Nesters and Gerry were so great (and I talked about them so much) that my kids asked "Was that the food that Gerry got you?". He's now a legend in Cambridge, MA too. Nesters was tremendous, the service was awesome and if you are lucky enough to have an interaction with Gerry. you'll understand why everybody raves about him. It's like having an amplifier that goes to 11. Can't recommend Nesters enough.

While shopping for some stuffed animals and other souvenirs my two year old dropped some hacky sacks on the floor - I thought this was a pretty good distraction while we decided what to buy, since she wasn't touching anything breakable. This lasted about 1 minute before I asked my daughter to start cleaning up. I was singing the "cleanup" song when the woman came to scold me about the mess. Not a pleasant interaction. I'm sure it's a very nice shop if you don't have kids with you or if you keep your kids in handcuffs, but if there is any chance your kid will touch anything, best to stay away. For a store with a lot of kids toys, it's not very kid friendly.
