I always have an amazing time when I visit here. The food is always delicious. I enjoyed the Chicken Quesadilla's this time. The fried fish was delicious as well. Service is always friendly. I love the large booths, I'm always lucky to be able to grab my favorite one. There's lots of parking outside. Came here on a whim to have lunch with my slow moving mother. I want to speak on accessibility 1st... it's not very accessible. There is a ramp but there are a lot of lips and that makes this a bit difficult to maneuver. It was slow so the staff was doing what they wanted but the person we had was friendly. Food was ok. Not great but ok. Reasonably priced. But the star were the drinks. We made it there for happy hour and it was 100% worth the time. Went there for mother's day brunch with mom daughter and my husband. they really did a horrible job . ive been there many times and im noticing a negative change in that establishment . They all look tired and grouchy the service was horrendous and we waited about an hour to get our breakfast . A total bait-and-switch. Don't decide to visit based on anything (items, pictures, portions) you see on their website. Pictures English breakfast but English breakfast is not on the menu. I doubt they even know what English breakfast is. Brunch advertised online as Saturday and Sunday, Benedict advertised. But Saturday it's breakfast, no brunch, no Benedict, but you can get the unimpressive Bloody Mary bar, with celery, olives, green beans, hot sauces, and 4 mixes, but no lime slices offered. The Sunday Benedict? Only "lobster" cakes, on a biscuit (!), with fake Hollandaise Lobster cakes? No. Or maybe some langostino. But I know imitation crab when I taste it. Served with an incredibly sad tiny iceberg lettuce salad garnish. The Cuban? A tiny child portion sandwich. This place is a sad disappointment every time I decide to give them another chance. These folks need to visit their competitors. I was the only customer and that can't be good. Go to City Pharmacy instead. read more

This is a cute place. Warm and inviting, but, service was slow. The menu sounds good, however, I ordered the lobster cake eggs benedict and it was not good. There was NO lobster in these cakes! Absolutely not: Got the colossal nachos and they tasted like homemade. I got a side order of cheesy Mac n cheese and ALL I COULD TASTE WAS THE FRESHLY BOILED PASTA NOODLES, no SEASONING WHATSOEVER. Jill is by far my coworker and I's favorite when she's bartending. She gives you that "everybody knows your name" relaxed atmosphere. I found this place when I was working in the area and searched "food near me", and thought the menu would appease all in our group due to the varied selection. We were a bit concerned when the parking lot was nearly empty on a Saturday night, then more so when we were asked to wait for a table in a nearly empty restaurant. We ordered the fried mushroom appetizer ($8.99) and got enough mushrooms to fill (almost) a small dish. I joked that they "were a dollar apiece" and the server chuckled uncomfortably. We also had the pretzel and fried jalapeños. The pretzel and cheese had literally no taste, although it did have texture. I had the reuben (passable) and hubby had the fried shrimp (although not the "all you can eat" special. Hubby shared his shrimp with me until after two shrimp, I asked him not to. The fries are hand cut, so if that's your thing you may like them. Son in law says the wings are good, but they charged an extra buck for the sauce. My daughter said the tater tots had a weird taste, they probably tasted like the shrimp. Bleah. All in all, we won't be returning. Well everywhere in the area had a three hour waitlist without a reservation so we decided to try this place. The menu seemed cool and they have cool activities throughout the week...music bingo, karaoke etc. Its not exactly a brunch spot or at least not in my mind but again the menu looked good. Where to start? We walked in to a sign that says "seat yourself", only to wait almost 20 min before anyone acknowledged our existence, even though people who came in after us had already been served. They expressed they were short staffed. Ok, we're patient, we will give it a chance. We ordered water, cups came with the straws in them...no wrapper on the end. We ordered wings and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Which are supposed to come before the food, right? Not here. Our sandwiches came. No wings. No mozzarella sticks. Our wings came out on a tray with food for another table. The server proceeded to sit them on the other table. After they told her they weren't theirs she took them back to the kitchen. My sandwich was made wrong, toppings (that were listed on the menu, not requested extra) were left off someone else in my party's sandwich. After sitting there for 10 minutes, the server finally came back with the wings and I sent my sandwich back, and we reminded her of the missing toppings. 10 minutes later, she brings missing toppings. 5 minutes later she brings back my sandwich after walking around confused because she forgot where it was supposed to go... still no mozzarella sticks. So I ask her to remove them from my bill. We never got refills on our drinks. The best thing any of us had tonight was the ranch we dipped the carrots in that came with the wings that were supposed to be lemon pepper but had no seasoning on them. It also smelled like a sewerage leak in there when you walked in the door. I will give it to the young man who was singing. He was good! And after how our visit started, he was the only reason we stayed. But regardless if he's playing there again...we will not be back. read more

I knew it was going to be bad when my friend and I sat down for lunch and were brought a single menu. The next party got one per person. The girl who brought it over wasn't bad, she just wasn't good. Didn't seem to care that we clearly had to share a menu, greeted us like we were going to be a burden but in her defense she got our drinks orders right (water and tea, so no biggie but still the highlight of the meal). The food was ok but clearly no effort was out into it. My friends French dip literally was a cold bun with some minute steaks thrown in it. Not the kind of food one expects for $16. Very spacey and great seating accomodation Feels very local "exclusive"...I immediately felt like an outsider and let's just say that some of the customers appeared to feel less than hospitable having me in their dining company. Crab cakes are worth the drive to Conyers. Chicken wings were acceptable and satisfying. The "homemade" french fries did not delight my tastebuds, The waitress seemed inexperienced and easily frustrated but was pretty and cordial. Me and my girlfriend are visiting from California and wanted to get a bite to eat before going back to our hotel on a Sunday night. It was getting late but we didn't want to go to any chain restaurant so we stumbled upon Whistle Post Tavern! We arrived about an hour and a half before closing time and they were closing down their kitchen for the night. They let us order on last call for food and that's what we did. Becky, our waitress, was super attentive to us. She was awesome! We enjoyed a $2 PBR special and danced to some good music that I picked out which I think Chris (the owner I believe) really enjoyed as well! Haha me and my girlfriend were dancing to the music as we waited on our food and Chris noticed and turned the music up a little more for us! Overall amazing experience. Unfortunately since we were visiting, our days were limited so we weren't going to be able to comeback anytime soon.
