Great local pub style restaurant in Conyers. I was completely surprised overall. Customer service was great, food was A-1 and we plan to return again.

Good place for a quick lunch. Ruben was good, a bit wet from the slaw, but I ate it all up. Clean place with a lot of neat stuff on the walls. Staff was great and attentive. I shall return.

Making the best of it :)

This place was honestly a great place to stop during our travels. Great service, wonderful food, and a terrific bartender. Thanks for giving us a place to prop my legs up and stay cool while waiting on appointments.

Omg, the food was amazing

What a gem!! Food was amazing : burger, Buffalo chicken stacked sandwich, bacon spinach chips n dip & country fried steak & the Fries!! And a free shot when the train comes by blowing its whistle! Love the ambiance & our waitress was great. We also lucked out that Monday is trivia night! Super duper fun. We're going back tomorrow for Tuesday's musical bingo & we'll likely bring everyone out of town guest here! We're ready to be regulars for sure

Colossal Nachos

Absolutely not: Got the colossal nachos and they tasted like homemade. I got a side order of cheesy Mac n cheese and ALL I COULD TASTE WAS THE FRESHLY BOILED PASTA NOODLES, no SEASONING WHATSOEVER. They just melt cheese and throw it on top of the noodles! Our server however was very sweet. This place has to be white owned, there's no seasoning!

Been coming here once a week for lunch since I started working in the area and I love the place. The dive/old school vibe of the bar is right up my alley. Jill is by far my coworker and I's favorite when she's bartending. She gives you that "everybody knows your name" relaxed atmosphere. The fish sandwich and jalapeño tartar sauce are our consistent go to. Not to mention it's one of the only places I've seen that had Blantons to take a shot of. I've tried a few other things on the menu and they've all been up to par.

Well everywhere in the area had a three hour waitlist without a reservation so we decided to try this place. The menu seemed cool and they have cool activities throughout the week...music bingo, karaoke etc. Its not exactly a brunch spot or at least not in my mind but again the menu looked good. I dont know if it's because we are black but NOONE approached us, we weren't even given menus and it wasn't busy at all. We waited for a while. I used the restroom and we even snapped a couple of pics while we waited but when no one ever came over or acknowledged us we left. Though the menu seemed cool, they have funnel cake sticks the overall vibe wasn't welcoming to us (a black couple).

it's a nice pub in old town but the prices are way to high for what it is. I did enjoy the free shits when a train passed by.

Unacceptable Food Safety Issue and Poor Management Response…read more Our experience at Conyers Restaurant Bar & Grill was unacceptable and deeply concerning, not just because of what happened, but because of how it was handled. After our food was served and while we were eating, I noticed something unusual inside the maple syrup canister that was placed in the center of the table. Knowing my uncle had ordered pancakes, I checked his plate and saw the same issue there. Upon closer inspection, it was clear there were ants inside the syrup canister and on the plate itself. This is a serious food safety concern. Photos and videos were taken at the table. We immediately informed a staff member, who appeared genuinely concerned and went to notify the manager. When the manager came to the table, who was also our server, he simply asked what was going on and did not acknowledge the issue until I asked if he had already been told. He then offered a brief apology and asked if my uncle wanted more pancakes, which showed a complete lack of understanding of the seriousness of the situation. The manager did not return to the table afterward. After about 15 to 20 minutes, another staff member came by and asked if everything was okay, forcing us to explain the situation again. The only resolution offered was 20 percent off the meal, despite this being a food safety issue affecting a table of nine people. My parents have frequented this restaurant since it opened and have been regular customers over the past year or two. After this experience, they will not be returning. Supporting local businesses matters, but customer safety, accountability, and integrity matter more. This experience made it clear those standards were not upheld.

I was given a start date, only to later find out that the establishment was actually closed that day. No one from management informed me. I had to go out of my way to contact another owner whose number I found on Instagram just to be told the place was closed. Situations like this show a serious lack of organization and respect for people's time. If management cannot properly communicate something as basic as whether the business is open, it raises concerns about how the establishment is run overall. I also noticed that most of the reviews here appear to be from several years ago, which makes me question whether the current experience reflects what customers can expect today. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to do their research before choosing to support this business.

We got the homemade chicken tenders (not pictured because it was too good to photograph), and the chicken egg rolls which were big enough to get full off of just one roll. I enjoyed the sauce that came with the egg rolls, it paired well with the ingredients inside . If you don't feel like sitting inside they also do delivery ! Upon entering the restaurant, the ambiance was very nice, and it gave a "grown and sexy" vibe. First off let me say that our waitress, (I won't say her name) wasn't attentive AT ALL. The only thing she did was take our order. She never checked on us, she wasn't the one who brought our food....nothing. I even put my empty glass on the corner so she would see it and just automatically re-fill it...nope. I had to get her attention and ask for a refill! Very disappointed about that. Now, on to the food. I had the lambchops, w/ veggies and a side of corn. The lambchops were delicious, but small. Whatever the veggies were, were very tasteful and seasoned to perfection! I also like the taste of the corn. My husband had a steak. He got it well done, but it came out w/ too much pink for his liking, so he sent it back to be cooked more. It came back out, just right and was seasoned well. There is also a D.J. that played the best music. It wasn't too loud either, which was a PLUS!! I will mos. def be returning in the near future. Try it for yourself!

I went with the intent of trying their vegan bean burger which was the only option on the menu via their website, however that is no longer served. Good news is that there is a Gullah bowl option for vegans. The Gullah bowl was delicious especially when topped with the peach vinaigrette dressing. The other members in my party thoroughly enjoyed the whiting and catfish dishes which they found to be well seasoned, the steak cooked to perfection, and the fried green tomatoes which one member in my party stated that they were the best she'd ever tried. The food came out quickly, no long wait. The only criticism is that the fried okra had no seasoning. Other than that, the food was good, service was great. I'd visit again.
