The ambiance is tired but appears clean and functional. The three stars is for the ambiance and brought down by the thin walls and lack of apparent situational awareness by other employees. Partway into my 60 min relaxing messaging a conversation started somewhere in the area that was so muffled none of the words were apparent but loud enough to know it was two people talking and laughing. Extremely distracting from the quiet and calm I've always experienced in other spa locations. No, I didn't say anything to Melanie because it seems if it was uncommon she would have made a comment and at least apologized. The fact she didn't makes me think perhaps she is used to it. And hand signals, body language get through the rest of it. Some customers just don't seem to have patience maybe? A lavender scented cotton steam mask was provided as part of the massage. At many walk-in massage shops, they seem to use cheap low quality lotion. It smells bad and dries out my skin due to the alcohol content. The therapist here used Tiger Balm!! It made for a really pleasant and deep massage, with the healing properties of the balm. I love the smell, but it may not be to the liking of others. I did not pay more for the Tiger Balm but they also have some aromatherapy oils for additional cost. My foot massage took a whole 60 minutes and it was just feet and legs. Some places also do a mini neck and back. Didn't bother me - if I wanted a back massage I would have paid for one! Five stars would have been for a slightly elevated experience such as a private room and candles/ambience. I'll definitely be back and will try a back massage.

Called on Friday to confirm appointment since the young lady first booked an hour appointment and wanted a 90 minute. The young lady confirmed my 2:09PM appt for 90 minutes. Today I called on my way due to traffic on I-75 and would arrive a few minutes after 2PM. To my surprise the man on the phone told me I didn't have an appointment!!! I explained the calls I made and when yet he told me I should have known I didn't have an appointment if I didn't receive a text message. What??? First I don't have an appointment I made AND confirmed yet no responsibility for their employees incompetence. Will not be back! Horrible customer service
