I've been in Chattanooga for almost 5 years and Ashleigh is the best massage therapist I've found…read more I've went through three other therapists before finding Ashleigh and I don't know what I'd do without her. She's recently opened her own studio and I can now book appointments online, which is super convenient, and I see her every other week almost without fail so being able to choose my time online is handy for my hectic life. She customizes each session based on my needs at each appointment and I am happier and healthier because she's in my life!

I haven't had a massage in almost three years. My neck and shoulders felt like iron rods were running through them. She was gentle yet firm with getting the kinks out. There was a little pain but I expected that. As does everyone else right now I had a runny nose. Brought tissues without me asking. The only thing lacking was maybe aromatherapy. Head and face massage was amazing. Bring a hat because your hair will be a mess going to go monthly. Once again, ask for Tina

Unlike another reviewer, I did have to fill out a waiver and information sheet about why I was visiting and any allergies. The English level of the staff was adequate! And hand signals, body language get through the rest of it. Some customers just don't seem to have patience maybe? A lavender scented cotton steam mask was provided as part of the massage. At many walk-in massage shops, they seem to use cheap low quality lotion. It smells bad and dries out my skin due to the alcohol content. The therapist here used Tiger Balm!! It made for a really pleasant and deep massage, with the healing properties of the balm. I love the smell, but it may not be to the liking of others. I did not pay more for the Tiger Balm but they also have some aromatherapy oils for additional cost. My foot massage took a whole 60 minutes and it was just feet and legs. Some places also do a mini neck and back. Didn't bother me - if I wanted a back massage I would have paid for one! Five stars would have been for a slightly elevated experience such as a private room and candles/ambience. I'll definitely be back and will try a back massage.

Pristine was close, and the google reviews seemed good, so I called and was pleased that I could be immediately fit in. NOT a good experience at all. The spoken language barrier wasn't the issue, but the tone and body language was down right rude. I'm not too familiar with massage terminology, but I did not get the relaxing message I requested at all... just 60 minutes of back and neck overkill....aggressive to a fault despite my request to ease up. I'd like to think it was because she didn't understand. But the few times I'd lean up to try and say something, she'd rudely tell me to put my head down. I almost got up and left, She had requested I keep my underwear on...a little odd but not a problem and likely an indication of her lack of experience. Anyway, I left sore and with a splitting head ache. But I still took the high road and left a 20% tip, but she wasn't even up front to collect it. Some guy was. Oh, he gave me a water to go. Nice But the more I think about it .. a negative review is in order. The other therapists must be better based on other reviews. Anyway, the stressful issue I'd been dealing with before I called to begin with came back to mind as I was leaving. My massage was no more than an unpleasant distraction with a headache as a bonus. Not a chance I'll ever go back there.

Tai Chi is truly a spa with a sauna and shower and plenty of privacy to relax. The services are very affordable and repeat customers get $30 off services after 10 visits. However, if you are modest and uncomfortable with a body rub a foot massage is equally relaxing. I would recommend a visit to speak with the staff to learn more.
