Tai Chi is truly a spa with a sauna and shower and plenty of privacy to relax. The services are very affordable and repeat customers get $30 off services after 10 visits. One of the best services is the body rub which is a gel with exfoliants leaving your skin soft, smooth and refreshed. It is worth the $35. However, if you are modest and uncomfortable with a body rub a foot massage is equally relaxing. I would recommend a visit to speak with the staff to learn more.

This place is a scam. The masseuse didn't even speak English. He had no idea what he was doing and…read morehe never spoke. To him it seems a full body massage means just rubbing down one's back over and over and over. I finally told him to STOP and GET OUT. I had to shoo him out the door to get him to understand. The manager spoke English but I don't think she understood what my complains were. BE WARNED.

The beginning of my massage I wasn't sure how I was going to like this place. I expected $60 for a…read moremassage and for deep tissue (I guess they call it Thai massage) I was told that it would now be $70. They also asked if I wanted to purchase some coconut oil or some special oil and that would be $10 more. I was to pay ahead of time. Seems odd to pay for a service that I didn't get yet. I was escorted to a clean room with no instructions. There was a printed sign on the wall that people who acted inappropriate could be discharged at any moment. I like that. I laid face down and a woman worked on me named "Judy". She did not speak very good English. She did not ask if there were trouble spots that she should work on. But from that moment on, I was very satisfied. She worked very hard, was very thorough, using all of her strength to deliver an excellent massage. At one moment, she disappeared from the room and I wondered if I was done. Three minutes later she came back with hot stones and finished up my massage. When I left, I wanted to tip her. They let me use my former credit card slip to leave a tip on. I will certainly be coming back. She did an amazing job.

I came in with a friend for a thirty minute chair massage. We decided to visit this business…read morebecause it was new and were both in need of stress relief. We were taken back immediately and seated next to each other. The room was decorated nicely. It was not relaxing as other clients were walking in on their cell phones. I am not quite sure what was going on, but it was not a massage. I asked the therapist to decrease the pressure five times. The motions were haphazard, chaotic and not resembling any massage I've ever had. I saw no indication of training or certification on the wall. The therapist did not speak English as the other therapist needed to translate "lighter pressure please". He did understand "ouch that hurts". I cut the massage short and told the English speaking therapist that I was unable to relax because "this hurt". He seemed to not care as he did not respond. I will not return to this business. I would not recommend this business based upon my experience and that of my friend.
