My friend and I recently visited Chattanooga. We were making plans last minute, so I searched for…read moreevents in the area on Facebook. There I found an event called "Inner Peace Sound Bath". My friend and I were both very intrigued and thought it would be something special to do, so we booked our tickets (through Eventbrite) the day before. Purple Sky is in the Southside area of Chattanooga, which we found to be really cool. There is parking behind the building. We entered to find a space set up for the bath. The class was full, but I don't think it was more than 12 people, so it was still intimate. We each had a mat on the floor to lie on, along with bolsters, eye pillows/weights, etc. Robin got us in the zone, then a friend from Nashville played some music/sounds before Robin took over. I truly loved this experience. It was 60 minutes, and I felt like I just mentally escaped for the entire time (aside from the room being just a degree or two too cold, so a couple times that got me). I was tempted to look up to witness the bowls and instruments Robin was playing, because it seemed out of this world, but I never did. This may not be what most travelers do, but I am so glad we found Purple Sky and the sound bath. It was so special, and I would absolutely go to a class or bath here if visiting Chattanooga again!

Yesterday's sound healing session was amazing. I was able to drop into a deep meditative space…read morevery quickly, which is normally hard for my busy mind to do. After my treatment my jaw was much looser, my body felt light, and I felt completely rejuvenated. I cannot wait to go again! Thanks Robin!

When we walked in the door, we were overcome with an instant and overwhelming sense of calm. It was night time, so there was no light coming through the windows, but the low light in the treatment room, coupled with the soft music and trickling water was so soothing. My wife went first, and I was allowed to watch. The whole thing with energy centers, Tina feeling her feelings, and directing energy through different nodes around her body (with the assistance of several different kinds of objects) was something I wasn't used to, but after 30-40 minutes of treatment, she arose from the table refreshed and renewed. When Tina treated me next, I was a bit nervous, but once I closed my eyes, it was like every nerve in my body was numbed -- as if all the negativity just flowed out of my extremities. Word to the wise. If you're like me and have had emotional trauma in your life, prepare for a very sensitive experience. For me, part of the release from Tina's treatment flowed out in the form of emotional pain -- but not really in a bad way...it was like the pain of cracking a knuckle or stretching your muscles. GOOD pain, and a release for sure. At the end, I was a puddle and I think we drove home about 25 mph slower than the speed limit. I highly recommend Tina, especially if you're looking for an opportunity to de-stress, deal with trauma, or find a way to force yourself to decompress. I wasn't sure if it would work at first, but there's definitely something to it and Tina is an absolute professional.
