Getting old is not for wimps lol;). New things popping up all the time! I decided to stop in to 1st Place Sports to check out their walking shoes. Kelly escorted me upstairs where they had a huge selection. I told her I was recommended to try Hoka's by several friends. First, I stepped on a machine to scan my feet to see what would work best for me. She suggested the Hoka Clifton 10 with inserts. I tried on a few different styles and selected my favorite (what felt best when walking). I purchased two pair of Hoka's and inserts that I can switch between the two pair of shoes. I walked out in my new shoes and by the next morning my feet pain was gone! After dealing with it for nearly three weeks I was so relieved! And grateful to Kelly for her help and excellent customer service! I'll be back for another pair soon when new colors are released. Since now I'm starting over with my walking shoe collection.

I came in wanting a walking shoe and was told the advantages of using a running shoe as a walker, better breathing. control. She brought me 3 pair of shoes to try on. 2 brands were represented. The first didn't need an insole. She listened to my questions about all 3 pair. Now time will tell if I made the right choice I bought a pair of Hoka with a medium insert. I will definitely return and hope to be served by her again.

They have lots of Gators stuff (BOO!) but their FSU selection is decent but a little lacking (just like the Noles on-field performance the past couple years) so it would be cool to see them add some more Noles stuff. They also have a selection of items for other teams like Bama, UGA, UCF, USF, etc. as well as some other pro teams. This store isn't huge but they pack a lot into their space and it's near Bono's if you want to stop for lunch or dinner. I'll come back again when I'm in town and want to get some Jags or Noles stuff.

They will tell you "up to 6 weeks from when the online store closes" but plan on at least 8-10 weeks. This year, our uniforms are still not here after 7 weeks, and now Bakers says they will ship "in another few weeks." They said that two weeks ago already. Once (if) you finally get the uniforms, they are very low quality and way overpriced. Last year, the uniforms arrived with multiple defects and Bakers refused to fix it until I drove down there and showed them how bad it was. Even then, they replaced one item and promised to ship the others, but they never did. Their customer service and sales reps will make excuses and even lie. Do not order team uniforms from Bakers!

They sell worms to use as bait that costs about $5 for a container of 15-20 worms. We previously bought night crawlers. They are sold in a small container in manure (strong smelling) and they were not alive. I'm not going to lie, it was extremely stinky and attracted a lot of flies. The upside is we caught a ton of fish with them. We recently bought earthworms. They were sold in small container in soft soil/ dirt and they were alive and it didn't smell at all (which is a huge plus). Again, we caught a ton of fish. The bait from this place does not disappoint. They also sold a ton of bait for deep sea fishing as well with a variety of options of fishing poles and lures. They were very informative and gave us great advice on how to catch a large carp fish that was hanging out in our lake. My son is 3 1/2 and caught his first fish using their bait.

Early morning staff is often late, their hours differ on weekdays but No sign posting hours, They do not post a sign when they are out of bait. Also the Bait quality typically suck. Shrimp Quickly dies off. They need a better system to refresh water & keep it cool. The other day I waited 45 minutes for them to open only to find out they were out of Bait ! I avoid them whenever I can Until they straighten out operational mgmt.
