I understand as a cashier it is not always the duty to handle the whole store but you are the last impression a customer has before they leave. The item we purchased not only rang up incorrectly than they price marked but when I let her know that the area was in disarray her response was...." I know I have seen it". She was pleasent but that doesn't fix my impression of a place I am spending my money at. This is a second attempt to purchase a suit here and we left the first time because it was a mess to dig through. If this was not the last resort we would have gone elsewhere.

Getting old is not for wimps lol;). New things popping up all the time! I decided to stop in to 1st Place Sports to check out their walking shoes. Kelly escorted me upstairs where they had a huge selection. I told her I was recommended to try Hoka's by several friends. First, I stepped on a machine to scan my feet to see what would work best for me. She suggested the Hoka Clifton 10 with inserts. I tried on a few different styles and selected my favorite (what felt best when walking). I purchased two pair of Hoka's and inserts that I can switch between the two pair of shoes. I walked out in my new shoes and by the next morning my feet pain was gone! After dealing with it for nearly three weeks I was so relieved! And grateful to Kelly for her help and excellent customer service! I'll be back for another pair soon when new colors are released. Since now I'm starting over with my walking shoe collection.

I came in wanting a walking shoe and was told the advantages of using a running shoe as a walker, better breathing. control. She brought me 3 pair of shoes to try on. 2 brands were represented. The first didn't need an insole. She listened to my questions about all 3 pair. Now time will tell if I made the right choice I bought a pair of Hoka with a medium insert. I will definitely return and hope to be served by her again.

I also LOVE the sweaters from the winter season- I bought a couple of them and I have several jackets. Quality products across the board. I will mention- they just redesigned the shorts overalls and the material is slightly different and they messed with the pockets- I hope they listen to their customer base and give back the original pockets and material, but they are still super cute! Overalls tend to run big, but the new design of short overalls are true to size.** Important info I went to a pottery convention earlier this year and Duluth Trading Co overalls were everywhere! I had forgotten about it until they popped up as an ad on my IG and I hadn't even thought about new overalls in months! But they had a great Mother's Day sale going and as a new customer- I got extra off. I ordered online and John mentioned he thought there was one up at River City Marketplace. Today (Mother's Day) we were headed to the National Cemetery to visit mom and stopped into the store and I snagged a couple pairs of overall shorts. I tried them on and found out that I am a smaller size than what I ordered online! Great problem to have- but when they come in the mail I can exchange them at the store. I got the same deal as online because I signed up for their text message program and got an additional 20% off on top of the sale prices- woohoo. And John and I both enjoyed the store as a whole. We were offered assistance numerous time by various staff and one associate made sure I knew about the text savings. Our location here in Jacksonville is the only location in Florida too! Based out of the midwest, they have a location map located at the back of the store. John even read a bit of their company history and compared it to the tv show Outdoor Man with Tim Allen. Good, solid, American company. I will be back and I will be shopping more ;) **2023 Update- I have shopped even more and even got John to buy a few things. I am absolutely in love with a skirt I bought here and floored that the size that fit was a 10! For those who know me, I'm down a few sizes- lol. Nice to have a local store where you can buy lots of Jags stuff and the prices are okay, if a…read morelittle high on some items, and they do have a good selection of Jags items. They have lots of Gators stuff (BOO!) but their FSU selection is decent but a little lacking (just like the Noles on-field performance the past couple years) so it would be cool to see them add some more Noles stuff. They also have a selection of items for other teams like Bama, UGA, UCF, USF, etc. as well as some other pro teams. This store isn't huge but they pack a lot into their space and it's near Bono's if you want to stop for lunch or dinner. I'll come back again when I'm in town and want to get some Jags or Noles stuff.

I haven't been here in awhile but my fiancé wanted to get some new shoes for work so I tagged…read morealong. I'm surprised that this place is rated so low, our visit was fine. We stayed downstairs over my the shoes. They had alot of the Adidases and Nikes out and they look really nice, but alot of the other brands were kept in their warehouse and you must use the kiosk to request them to be brought out to try on. Once he did that I thought it would take awhile for them to go get them and hand them over, but it was maybe 5 mins or so and they were very polite about it. He tried two pair on and chose the pair that closely matched his uniform. He gave the other pair back and we took the other to the cashier, nothing to note about purchasing them, just fast and polite. Seems fine to me.
