I've been coming to this vet for about five years now and always make the recommendation to friends…read morewhen asked about where to take their pets. Overall the entire vet staff (doctors) are amazing. They are extremely passionate about what they do and will be honest and work with you based on your situation to find the best solution for your furry friend. This is the main reason why I come back and drive about 30 minutes out of the way to take all my four pups here. This is a hard thing to find in the vet industry as most office feel like sterile operations. On the flip side I will say my only con is I have had my issues with the front desk such as booking appointments, being on hold for long periods, not being able to get in during an emergency over the years, but since I was here last it appears there's a new staff at the desk in place and this has since been corrected by the practice. As this issue has gotten way better. Definitely don't let it steer you away from coming here but just make sure to document your booked appointments. And I'll also mention that my issue of booking during an emergency was addressed by the doctor, who told me to ask for them directly if anything like that happens again. Regarding price they are extremely reasonable. Take your pup here you won't regret it! :)

From leash pulling to barking, and even separation anxiety, Maggie was testing our every nerve. Michael came and showed us that it was not about dominating your dog, but leading them. Through just a few verbal and visual cues we were able to help Maggie understand that she did not have to be the leader, and that we would take care of her. Now she is happy to sit back, relax, and let us take the reins. She is an absolute gem on walks now. Knowing that we will have Michael throughout Maggie's lifetime is a relief, because we know that he will be able to guide us through any future life hurdles. Thank you, Michael!

After our first session there was great improvement. Richard used positive reinforcement and it was fun for our dog. I found it simple to incorporate the training methods into our everyday activities. It's been a few months now and and Owen no longer has issues. I used what I learned with all three dogs and it's made a huge difference in our home. No more stress, all the dogs get along nicely and play together. All three dogs pay attention and listen to me. I am so happy I found Bark Busters. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. Prior to our training, Vickie explained everything to me and answered all questions. The fees are very reasonable too. I highly recommend Bark Busters and wouldn't go anywhere else.

He'd done puppy training, but at 4 years old, I assumed his barking/lunging behavior was his "personality." Then, a vet who had trouble treating him (because of his reactivity) strongly recommended Pet Degree. It has been a life-changer! Each lesson has built upon the next (we've done 4 lessons, so far), and Max is walking in parks. Calmly passing bikes, kids, joggers--without any reactivity. He's a different dog! Last week, I started bringing his sister, who is so fearful! The owner, Lynne, immediately introduced a calm, confidence-building atmosphere. I cannot recommend Pet Degree highly enough. This is a trainer who knows the psychology of dogs, and how to help them!

I was looking for a trainer who shared the same goals of super-friendly dogs with impeccable manners. After the consultation with Gus and his "public relations specialist", his female Doberman, I knew he was the trainer we were looking for. Gus did a great job training Turbo and Diesel, but his greatest accomplishment was training me! I quickly learned the dogs knew what they were expected to do, it was me who needed to learn to be consistent. Dog training with the trainer became dog class with great friends! Turbo and Diesel loved Gus and loved being in dog class with all their K-9 buddies, and so did I. Thanks Gus, for teaching us about true K-9 communication! Fast forward to now and I still use all the techniques Gus taught me our third German Shepherd, Dozer. Gus can help you establish your communication with your canine family member so you can have a happy and healthy relationship and they can be an active member of your family.

You will never, ever feel like they're rushing or dismissive of your animal's needs. They really get to know everyone personally. Every time one of my animals has passed away, they've cried with me. I work a lot and they're always willing to work with me. I've had my dogsitter and/or friends drop off and pick up animals for me, I've paid over the phone, etc., because they're there for the animals and they don't care how I have to get them there. The staff is so helpful that even if I'm there for one animal, they'll see that I'm about to run out of meds for another animal and have the refill ready to go. One of the things that distinguishes Dr. Nashe from other vets is his use of tried-and-true methods rather than immediately recommending new!exciting!expensive! solutions. He's extremely knowledgeable and won't push you for some fancy treatment course if a simple "give her one vitamin e a day" will do. I have also boarded my dogs there several times and they take excellent care of them. They've also done exams for my dogs during boarding as requested (e.g. I dropped off a dog to be boarded who has chronic ear infections, and since the vet was no longer there when I dropped her off, they did the exam the next day without me and called to let me know what they found). (You still have to pay for the exam.) I trust them to give all medications and attend to details such as which dogs can/can't be trusted with blankets in the kennel. I've called many times at the last minute and they've found space. I found Dr. Nashe because I had taken a dog to Dr. Vargoshe many years ago and enjoyed his old-fashioned methods, but he was on vacation when I needed a new dog vet and his office referred me to Dr. Nashe and I'm so, so happy.
