Michelle is absolutely wonderful at her job. I have been going to her for years to get my lash extensions, and they are done flawlessly every time. She is very consistent and truly cares about her clients. She doesn't charge per lash, which many salons do... to rip you off... She does a full new set every time and charges depending on eye shape, and whether you prefer them thicker/curlier (more time and $) or longer/more natural (less). I choose Michelle because of prefect yelp review she had and I really wanted to like her cuz she is sweet. However this is a bad eyelash extension experience for me because of bunch of miscommunication and majority of lashes fallen out on 11th day(see pictures). Let's start with the miscommunication part. I first booked Michelle for a full set, but she suggested me to do a natural set when I arrive because she said her natural set is already very full. She also promised her lashes would last 2-4 weeks, and she said majority of her clients's lashes last until 4 weeks. I took her advice and decided to go with natural set. I still had eye lash extension from last time so I told her I want similar lash length and the type of C curl I always have. Michelle misunderstood me somehow, and she did a very natural set of eyelash extension on me that I did not like immediately after I saw it. I told her that and she said she used the same eyelashes I had from last time (but my eyelash looks completely different from last time I had it). I should have insisted on doing the full set I booked at first place. Despite the fact that I did not like it, I still tipped her 15% because she spend 2hrs putting eyelashes on me and she is a sweet person. If it just stops here I would still rate her 3 stars. Now lets get to the shedding part. Today is 11th day and majority of my lashes have shed. I tried communicating with Michelle politely asking if there are reprimand she could do, she got offensive quick and basically told me its my problem because everyone else are very satisfied with their lashes around the same time I did my lashes. She also told me I got what I paid for, which sounds ridiculous to me, cuz I paid 80~90 bucks and I got eyelashes that lasted for 11 days??? I have eyelashes extension many times before, and I use the same strategy to care for all of them----no water for the first 24 hrs, no makeup for 2days. I don't understand with the same care, same person(me), why does Michelle's eyelashes shed sooooo quickly than others. I did not go to pool/sauna or any places that would expedite the shedding process. In fact, I even wore less makeup this week cuz I was busy moving house. PS: Michelle did inform me I should keep the eyelash dry for 48 hrs. However since I have use the same care routine for all other lash extension I had before and it worked out for me fine I followed my routine. So I guess don't wash your face for 48 hrs are extremely important for Micelles' lashes to last longer than 11 days while other lash places could do the same for 24 hrs. I just wanted to share my experience so that future customers would know that you have to communicate with Michelle very well to get the style of lashes you wanted and the possibility that it would shed in 11 days like mine did. read more

Michelle is by far one of the most talented eyelash experts I've ever seen! I began getting my eyelashes done by her in 2009 and have only seen her become more perfect and creative as time has gone on! Every experience over the years with her has been so relaxing and renewing and filled with love. She has always left me feeling so beautiful and excited about my new perfect lashes! WOW!!! I seriously wish I could give her ********** (stars)!!! This woman is absolutely phenomenol!! She has a separate room in her home dedicated to where she works her "magic". Comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. She spent in excess of 90 minutes applying the lashes. Let me tell you something ladies!! What an absolute treat this is!!! Michelle was very nice and made the experience very relaxing. When I left her place, my eyelashes looked absolutely perfect, the best ones i had ever gotten, I even got compliments from a makeup artist that day while shopping for makeup. I had gotten them because i was going out of town and I didnt want to have to worry about doing my eye makeup while gone. About 2 days after they were done, I started to notice that a lot of them were falling out of just my right eye. A couple days after that, more than half of my right eye was gone. I have gotten lashes done many times from several different people and I have not ever had this happen. I texted Michelle about it and sent her a picture and she said I could come by that day to fix them and see what happened, but I was out of town, she told me to let her know when I got back in town. When I got back I texted her and I never heard back from her. I was so disappointed because they looked so good when they were done initially.
