Found Van through Yelp when searching for some self pampering. I had been wanting to do something different with my lashes and came across her Yelp reviews. Decided on a whim to call and see her availability and to my surprise, she told me I could come in as she had an opening for the day. I had never had lash extensions before and so I was a bit nervous but she was so gentle and did her magic. It does take SOME getting used to cuz I know I cant just rub my eyes but they're so light and pretty, that I dont even feel like I have anything on. She put the right amount to accentuate my eyes since I told her I didnt wanna look like my eyes had wings to fly away so she did a classic look. Not too long and not too short. The shop is awesome (very clean and organized), you go to a private room (which is also very clean) and Van is professional and truly cares about your needs. Van is the sweetest and extremely knowledgeable. The place is really cute, relaxing, and super clean so that's a major plus! I had a acne Chemical Treatment (ACT) with mild chemical peel (she suggested a certain type of peel that was suited for my skin type after she inspected it). Before leaving, I purchased a face wash, toner, acne gel, clear moisturizer, and spf 30. I trained myself to spend at least 10 minutes in the morning and at night to apply the step by step products that Van showed me. Also, she suggested that for the fast results that I should change my eating habit by adding some more healthier choices and also to always wear my spf during the day to prevent my acne scars from getting worse. And honestly my skin has improved greatly! I'm so happy with the results! I wish I had before and after pictures of my acne scars that were on cheeks but I don't unfortunately. I made an appointment with Van for microdermabrasion and a level 1 facial peel for acne. I suffer from cystic acne caused by a hormonal imbalance. The level 1 peel was awesome for small bumps that I had and blackheads. The second time I went in, I got a level 2, which Van said was a little more potent for acne. It's been three days since the level 2 and I am out and about with NO makeup on. This hasn't happened in years. Everyone should go see Van!
