Pros: (+) cute clothes…read more(+) wide range of colored & printed pants (+) reasonably priced (+) cute shoes Cons: (-) some t-shirts and tank top have cheap quality fabric (-) their displays are a little dry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I usually buy from Delia's through their online store where it's easy to view the clothes and shop. I can honestly say I drop a pretty good amount when shopping online. So when I saw that there was a Delia's store in the mall I got so excited!!! However, when I walked in, I was a little disappointed on the way the store displays looked. Basically, the clothes look much cuter online than in store. The visual displayment of their shirts....were hung on what looked like a clothing line. It looked a bit tacky for such cute shirts. I did find some cute stuff there..dresses, patterned socks, accessories, shoes, etc. I was loving their range of colorful and printed pants! The good thing about shopping in store is not having to pay shipping. If you can find what you are looking for online and verify if they have it in store too...then you can save yourself shipping costs. They do have cute stuff, I'm not going to lie. The prices are decent. Not as affordable as Forever 21 per se, but decent. $30 for some wedge shoes. The most expensive thing I saw was a sequin dress for $70.

After browsing in here multiple times over the last few years, it seems to be the owner's decision to cater to tiny people, or else perhaps they bring in very few pieces in a true and ample 12 which sell out very fast. Yes, there were some seasonal ponchos today that would fit any size/ any height and separate tops that would work for multiple heights so long as you have thin arms and a minimal bust. Interestingly the one sales lady working today was trying hard to convince a 5 ft tall customer that the poncho was "perfect for her if she would drape it differently" and a bit of creative styling ensued. No, in truth it looked awful on this petite woman like she was trying to get out from under a big blanket. Well the customer had enough common sense to follow her instincts "this is not for me", despite urges from the saleslady to the contrary. I suspect the saleslady sensed big sale potential as many things were being tried on and talked about for Ms petite and her adult daughter as gifts. I however, was completely ignored. Meanwhile, I poked around on my own, never once asked what I was looking for, while the declassee gum-chomping saleslady catered exclusively to the other woman. While I was approached for her to take the two items I found into the dressing room, she never inquired how I was doing and even in my departing "good-bye, didn't stop talking to the other woman or bother to thank me for stopping in. Parking: I parked behind the building where the strong stench of rotted garbage permeates the air from over-filled and uncovered garbage dumpsters. Has Briarcliff no sanitation codes?

Last week, I purchased a pair of Dolce and Gabbana heels for $100, on sale from $200. Three days later I wore the heels for the first time, to a wedding. After 40 minutes of standing and walking in the shoes, the heel separated entirely from the sole of the shoe. This morning I brought the heels to the shop and asked Zofia, the owner, for either a refund or store credit. I explained how the heels broke. She turned her back to me and strode over to the counter, picked up a sign that said "All sales are final" and held it up to my face for me to read. When I protested that she had sold me a defective product, she launched into a tirade, comparing her store to Neiman Marcus. I understand that Zofia's store policy is to protect her from people who change their mind about a purchase, or who try to return something after they wear it. However, an expensive consignment store should stand behind their merchandise, and should treat their customers with respect, or - at the very least - decency. I write this review not to air a grudge, but to warn future customers that they risk purchasing broken items at this shop, and that any attempt to return those items will be met with derision and scorn.

Small shop in this very charming and small village, love their carefully chosen quality selections…read more The owner is a lovely Polish lady who, if misinterpreted, will come off as being a bit reserved and cold, but we began to exchange some conversations and I found her to be very sweet and informative (it might help that I currently live in an area that has a large Polish population and have come to understand their cultural ways). She is precise with her policy, both as a buyer and seller, and sticks to her guns (I personally like that, know what to expect). I brought in some items and she was thorough in her examination, turning away several items due to stains or because she felt her clientele would not go for it (even though it was a name brand, she explained that her clients were more reserved). I will definitely be going back regularly to check out her merchandise and will recommend friends to go as well.

Before I went into the store, I called and was told I didn't need an appointment.I was coming in from out of town. The lady on the phone was very dismissive and unconcerned. While browsing, a man, whom I now know is the owner, approached my friend and said he heard me ask about getting measured for a bra and wanted to make sure I was going to buy one. REALLY? What an utterly rude and base inquiry. Couldn't you think of anything better to say to a potentially new customer? The customer service is just awful - very self impressed crew. "After looking EVERYWHERE in my area for a stylish, yet appropriate mother-of-the-bride dress, I stumbled upon this lovely store online. After looking at all the lines they offer, I knew my dress was there! I immediately called for an appointment and made the 3 hour drive the very next day. I was greeted by Rafael and Suzanne who were amazing and very knowledgeable. I gave them my price cap and they were great about sticking to that. I tried on at least 12 dresses! More than any other store I had been to previously. I couldn't believe it.. after going to store after store and seeing the same old Mother of the Bride dresses and looking online at the major department stores, here I was looking at all these gorgeous dresses that I had never seen before. After I found THE dress, I wanted a particular color and neckline. They contacted the designer and got all the info I needed to seal the deal. Because of their expert measuring, all my dress needed was hemming. And the fee for alterations was very reasonable considering all the work the seamstress had to do. My daughter just got married and I felt so special in my dress. I could not be happier! Elephant's Trunk is now my go-to store for ANY future formal events I may have in the future. I wouldn't even bother going anywhere else. It's a 3 hour drive for me. Totally worth it. It is a MUST VISIT."
