We took it through a car wash well the drivers side door started pouring in water! I call tell the finance manager he said he would let Jon the salesman know since we had to bring it down already to get scratches and dents fixed and a full detail! Well let's just say we picked it back up the next day seal is not fixed since we double checked by running it through a car wash! They used green touch up paint for a sonic grey pearl car! The manager was very unprofessional along with the salesman that sold us the car. i told them my honest opinion that I went against everyone who told me do not buy from Wetzels And if your going to be a salesman he should have looked over the car and made sure it was clean and perfect as a young man was excited for his first car. Pretty sad the manager says we aren't getting a loaner he will call when the part is ready as he is walking inside with our salesman tells us have a nice ride home knowing that water can get in the car! Jaret the other young salesman gets a lubricant to take off writing they had Left on the head light from the first time we picked the car up! Mind you the sales manager and our salesman stand inside laughing at us. DO NOT BUY From the dodge Chrysler and Jeep lot! I will be getting ahold of the better business bureau! Also had no idea we had 3 days or 300 miles to return! Worst experience ever!

Complete dealership misrepresentation of the 2016 Camaro 1SS that I purchased from them on June…read more19th, 2024. I specifically asked the sales representative at the time if the car had been in any accidents or if there was anything concerning on the Carfax which I did in front of witnesses. I was informed that there had been no accidents on the car and the Carfax was clean, besides when the car was purchased last, there was a discrepancy on the odometer therefore, Wetzel would be getting that fixed and would present me with a corrected Carfax as they didn't want me to have the one that had the error. Due to this error on the title with the odometer, it took Wetzel from June 19th to September before I received the corrected title. (There are 76 days that the title was held and according to Indiana law a dealership has 31 days to present a title) I drove to Wetzel on September 3rd to return the dealer plate and asked for the Carfax then which I was finally given and told it was clean and fixed, therefore I filed it away. Upon trying to sell the car, I discovered that the car had in fact been in an accident, was repossessed and had 9 owners in 8 years! (This had also been asked and we were told that they didn't know the amount of owners but that it had been traded in by a gentleman from Connersville). Had I known this, there is no way that I would have purchased the car and I only purchased the vehicle on the trust that their word of no accidents and the only issue on the Carfax was the odometer. We did meet with the Owner Nick Wetzel today, September 23rd, who told us he would not do anything to remedy the situation and defiantly would not take the car back, ended the conversation and walked away. All we were asking was for Nick Wetzel and Wetzel Chrysler Jeep Dodge to make it right with us and take the car back like this all never happened. With all of our documentation and the fact that the car was misrepresented, whether in ignorance or fraud, the dealer inducing us to act by promising the car was never in an accident and nothing to note regarding the vehicle or there is no way the deal would have been made. Be careful with this company and trust me, there are better car dealerships in Richmond that will be honest and take care of you like you should be taken care of when purchasing a vehicle.

He understood our needs and found us the perfect vehicle. Unfortunately someone ran a stop sign and totaled that one. I have faith that Nick will be able to find me something else that is perfect for me. He really went above and beyond. He helped us with wealth management ( even though we have none) retirement information. Great guy great dealership. They are not salespeople and do not get commission so you know they really are there to help. Thanks

I'm a little leery about a brand where you might not find service all that often, especially after having a Volkswagen and moving to a small town. As I started to look a salesperson emerged from the building, Keith Glover. I always hope that sales people will be honest and helpful. He was very friendly, as I explained to him that I was being nosy at this time and couldn't buy anything. I told him what kind of car was on my mind, so as they didn't have that exact configuration, he moved me to something I wouldn't even consider. Still, he wasn't really doing the wrong thing, it was just fruitless, as was his asking me if I wanted to take a test drive. I asked him about PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicles) since I'm planning to move to California and would not like to trade an almost new vehicle at a huge loss after a year. He went into a lovely story about Cleveland and Ohio, and pointed to the emissions information on the sales sticker, but never really answered my question. I know there are salespeople who do a good job, but in these difficult times, can they afford to be less desperate? I realize that he wanted to give me a "good presentation" but he was misleading and probably hoping for a quick sale even though I told him I couldn't. No harm done.

When my…read morevan started acting up last Thursday, they got me in first thing Monday, even with the short holiday week. As a single mom with a full time job, I have limited time and heavily rely on my vehicle, and I trust Elstro to diagnose issues honestly without pushing unnecessary repairs. Matt quickly found the problem, ordered the part to be delivered asap by his supply truck, and reminded me I was due for an oil change and asked if I wanted to get it taken care of while I was there because he knows its hard for me to find time to get the van to them! During the multi-point inspection, he showed me that my drive belt--which had been cracked since I bought the van--was now in much worse shape. He always explains what can wait and what can't, but this time it clearly couldn't wait any longer. Thanks to the inspection and photo, I felt confident getting it replaced. He ordered the belt immediately and fixed it as soon as the part arrived. They also noticed my taillight and license plate lights were out, so they replaced those too--saving me from a ticket and keeping my van safe and reliable. I cannot express how grateful I am for their services and also appreciate them squeezing in my oil change and repairs when I was just there for a diagnosis. They have a quiet, clean waiting room. They are friendly and explain things well. No one wants to pay for auto repairs but if you have to, I highly recommend Elstro Auto!

I've been a customer of Elstro Automotive since 2018, but unfortunately, the quality of service has steadily declined while prices have continued to rise. My most recent visit was for a diagnostic test, and they told me the issue was with the ECM -- which turned out to be completely wrong. I ended up paying for two diagnoses, one from them and another from a different shop that correctly identified the real problem. After years of loyalty, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will no longer be using their services and would advise others to verify any diagnostic findings before committing to repairs.

Not even body paint but what looked like nail polish. Also, the fenders were completely rusted out with new fender flares placed over top of them to hide the damage. The vehicle was also flashing for an oil change and various other issues it had but was being sold "as is". All of the issues with the vehicle is only half the experience. Getting a hold of them is a whole other category. It's ran by a husband and wife which aren't there on advertised hours but their workers are. Who seem to be volunteers that just sit on the front porch and move vehicles. Phone calls aren't answered or returned, voicemails returned, and 0 communication otherwise. It sits on a small lot with large flags that say "guaranteed financing" and "no credit". Oh, and they have "special financing" according to the workers. Not the normal stuff apparently. Steer clear at your own risk.
