This place was recommended to me by multiple people in a local Facebook group for a bridesmaid…read moredress hemming. I went in with my heels and she pinned it all and said it would be ready in 5 days and had me pay in full. I called 6 days later to let her know I'd be in in 2 days to pick it up. Upon arrival I presented my receipt and she looked confused and wandered around looking for my dress (I could see it hanging in the garment bag I left on a rack) after a few minutes she came back to look at the receipt again and I said uh its on the rack over there. she went and grabbed it and looked at me weird and then spoke to the other lady there, which I could not understand. She then told me she never actually did it and she could have it done by the next day. Confused, I said ok. When I got home and tried it on the next day I was even more confused because it was still too long. With the same heels on as I had when she had pinned it. Several inches too long. At this point I did not have any time left to get it fixed. I had several people look at the hem to see if I was going crazy. I understand she's professional but everyone said it clearly looks like the dress had not been hemmed at all. I am 6 foot tall and was wearing 2.5 inch heels. I ordered a tall in the dress so only needed a couple inches off and after paying $60 and having to come back because she forgot to do it, I was still tripping on the dress all night. I truly believe my dress was not altered at all.
