He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, thus we felt comfortable. Chuck allowed us to make the changes we wanted on the model house and we signed our contract. Chuck's was available to us all the step of the way. Most contractors would have their employees deal with the owner, but that was not Chuck. He gave us his direct email. So every time we had questions or concerns we would send an email and he would answer himself and explain the process. He would make sure we had the contact for every laborer. We lived next door to the property being constructed and we watched every step of the process. We built during the height of covid and materials were scarce. However, Chuck made sure to let us know what was going on. My father is a retired electrician, thus at the end of the electrical installation, my father was happy that all the installation was professionally done. The same happened with the Mason construction. One of the family friends is a mason and he was impressed with the work. We didn't like that the construction of the house took one year. However, we know that because of Covid everyone had a lack of workers. But despite all this, it was all worth it. In the end, we got a beautiful home. We wanted extra features and we got all of them. Now to mention the price of the home, all we can say is that the price was on par with what other contractors had quoted us. So we ended up with a quality home for our money. Chuck didn't overprice us and we know because my father and his friends are tradesmen. We watch the construction all the step of the way and are very happy with our home.

Rick serviced the unit that I inherited when I purchased my home and then installed a new unit around 10 years ago. He was a true professional in every aspect of the business. He personally did most of the annual maintenance and was always responsive to my phone calls with questions or minor issues I was having with my unit. I considered him a friend beyond our business relationship. I understand that he retired a few years ago and sold the business. Things are NOT the same today. When I recently had my annual inspection the technician mentioned that the motor was excessively loud and would probably need to be replaced in the near future. He checked with their office and informed me that it was still under the 10 year warranty. A few months later I called their office to see in a technician could come out and reinspect it. No one ever returned my voice mail. Over the next couple of weeks I left 4 unanswered messages explaining how I was a loyal, long term customer and needed their help. They did not ever answer their phone or return my messages. I decided to keep trying and called 10-15 times and they did not once pick up their phone. I was so disappointed in their lack of professionalism that I decided to inform the owner of what was happening. I emailed him a detailed account of what was going on (and confirmed it by regular mail in the unlikely chance that he didn't receive it) and I never heard a word from him either. I do not plan on even trying to contact them again. I know that my existing a/c is "on its last legs" but I will not be talking to them about replacing it. I called her myself because she REFUSED to give my money back. She said it was a special order. Now tell me that a millworker company does NOT know that their doors are backordered. We've been screwed by insurance, screwed by the Texas contractor, and now I guess we're in line to get screwed again.
