Communication soured and the start date kept being pushed further and further back with a multitude of excuses and promises. When the project finally commenced, we gave another portion of the payment, making our total paid at that point close to 70% of the total amount due for the entire job. A job that was only supposed to take 3-4 days was now running over 2 weeks and still was not complete. There were still many things that needed to be addressed/corrected and finished however Erick kept insisting we needed to give him more money for the project all while pushing completion out further. We tried to be very patient and understanding, but things just were not adding up and we did not feel Erick was being honest with us and therefore decided it was time to cut our loses. My opinion is that likely Erick bit off more than he could chew and was not experienced enough for such a job.

When he inspected the kitchen he pro-rated the cost on site and we signed the contract. Then he removed the door panels same visit for the finish work at his shop. He can do the work and run the business. The cabinet guys he sent to finish the job did so admirably. The finished paint work was completed, door panels, cabinet frames, all new soft close door hinges, an upgrade. The cabinet guys are work oriented, no complaints, no smoke. She then sent her husband into my home to remove 180 sq ft of that tile without even the smallest effort to contain the dust. They did not hang a single sheet of plastic to close off the work area.
