Working with Nick and his staff has been an incredible experience for my son. What I noticed right…read moreaway is that Nick truly CARES about kids and takes the time to understand how they learn best. He spent a great deal of time on the phone with me before we came in for my son's evaluation and I quickly knew he would be a great fit. Nick is great at meeting kids where they are. On days when my son is struggling or just not in the right headspace, Nick adjusts the session accordingly. What impresses me most is how he explains concepts. More than once I've found myself thinking how every kid would benefit from a teacher like him. Beyond his talent as an educator, he's also an incredibly generous business owner. We first met him after winning a free month of tutoring through our school's silent auction. The value we have received this past month has gone above and beyond my expectations. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in helping kids succeed, then Elite Tutoring Place will serve you well. We feel incredibly lucky to have found him!

Extremely Disappointed - No Results After 30 Hours…read more I spent 30 hours at Elite Tutoring Place, fully committed to improving my ACT score. I followed every piece of advice, completed all the assigned work, and put in the extra effort outside of sessions. I'm a hard worker--I don't expect results without putting in the work. But after all that time and money, my score did not improve at all. The tutors were friendly, but the strategies they taught me were no different from what I had already learned on my own. There was no personalized approach, no real effort to target my weaknesses, and honestly, it felt like I was just going through the motions in every session. For a program that promises score improvements, this was a complete waste of time and money. If you're looking for real results, I strongly suggest finding another program. Elite Tutoring Place did nothing for me except drain my wallet and leave me frustrated. The owner will respond to this message claiming I never attended Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton as he did in my google review. Regardless, I did attend Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton, and I find it concerning that he claims not to have any record of me. I showed up, did the work, and stuck to the program as instructed, yet my score did not improve at all. Nick- Instead of dismissing my experience, maybe take accountability and consider how blaming the student for not following the program correctly when I did everything asked of me is not a great look. Instead of denying my attendance, maybe focus on improving your program so future students actually see results.

The word 'frustration' is not even enough to express our experience with Musical Expressions…read more Our 10 year old son was going to attend a piano recital organized by the company. We paid for it a month ahead of the time, cleared our schedules, even had extended family informed. It was supposed to be at 9:45 this morning at a church. We had grandparents from out of town drive 2.5 hours so that they can be a part of it. We bought our son a new suit and dress shoes, as we were emailed by the teacher about the dress code, no gym shoes. We bought flowers to give to our son afterwards to congratulate him. Not even mentioning hours of practice he did for the event and the excitement he had. ALL to get a call 10 minutes prior the event, when we were already in the church parking lot, informing us that the event got cancelled. THE REASON: they could not get into the church. There was ONE, SINGLE, point of contact they had with the church, who failed to show up to let them in. I went to the office as I believe I needed more of an explanation. The staff and owners did not even accept responsibility for this: 'Church person did not show up!'. When I said the place you pick is your responsibility, all they can say was we can happily refund you for the recital money. How are you going to refund the disappointment, frustration and waste of time? Also couple months ago, our teacher was not available for two weeks. Their scheduling is so NOT flexible that they could not schedule make up classes for us at all. We ended up specifically demanding a refund for those classes as they tried to schedule something for weeks but were unable to do so. Our son has been taking classes here for two years now. We love our teacher. But this level of ineptitude displayed by the staff and the owners is just beyond comprehension.

I even got the Charlie Brown Christmas music! This is in an industrial area, not a strip mall, but there is a sign on the side of the building that makes it easy to find.
