Meh... I've definitely had better, though it wasn't the worst I've ever tasted. What really…read moredampened the experience was the price. I ordered a scoop of their espresso gelato, but the portion was so small it looked more like a child-sized sample than a proper scoop. Then, for an additional charge, I received a drizzle of flavorless chocolate sauce. When I asked for cookie crumbles, I was charged another $1.00 and given what amounted to about a quarter of an Oreo cookie. I'm not exaggerating. I'm a small person, so I know what a modest portion looks like--but this was tiny, even by my standards. It felt more appropriate for a 5-year-old than a paying customer. What frustrates me most is when "specialty" shops charge premium prices for products that don't feel special at all. The only thing that seemed exceptional here was the inflated cost. In all honesty, I would have enjoyed a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen far more.

The line can't move if you can't check us out! Our ice cream was melting while we were waiting to get checked out. Not the girls fault unless they know better. Management should train to keep the line moving, have one person help the customer all the way down to the register and then go back to helping other customers. It's a lot faster and more efficient. I wish we had gone elsewhere, I've experienced this twice. Third times a charm maybe?

Since it's peach season, we went for one scoop of the peaches and cream ice cream ($3) and added a homemade cone for $1.50. The scoop was massive -- definitely enough for the two of us to split. Big chunks of juicy peaches in a smooth, creamy base made it a perfect summer treat. Bonus tip: if you bring your receipt from the sandwich shop next door, you get a free topping.
