A HUGE farmers market, that now spans over 3 buildings and outdoor market too. It is mostly…read moreoutdoors - so check the weather before going, and dress appropriately! Definitely wear comfortable shoes because there will be a lot of walking and standing because seating (although is peppered throughout) is limited. There's something for everyone here! From food to local art vendors -- it's a mix of different products. I especially like to support the real local businesses and farmers! I also recommend checking out the "The Mennonite Story" museum, located in one of the small buildings on the property. Inside you can learn about the Mennonite community and their impact in the area! Quite interesting history, and how they are still active today. Open Thursdays and Saturdays, it is a hot destination for tour buses and local retirement homes alike. Expect crowds here, but it's all a part of the experience. Give yourself time to find parking.

I had previously come by the market earlier in spring when it was less packed (and also still quite cold), and although it was a nice experience it was not as bustling and fun as during the late summer. There were vendors lined up across the area outside and all the shops inside were full of people browsing, shopping and enjoying the afternoon. If you can, grab an apple fritter nearby, you'll see the line up, and it's worth it! There are also food trucks, pony rides and an assortment of other things to enjoy your visit at the market. There were a few people busking and performing and it made the atmosphere quite pleasant to send a day. There's also plenty of fresh produce and local products. We picked up some items and happily had a great time at the farmers market. Definitely recommend coming here early to grab a parking spot if during peak Saturdays in summer months. The markets is also open Thurs
