Ok, this was my first time trying Whataburger and I walked away bit confused as to why folks love their burger. I went with the whataburger with cheese meal. The drive thru move quickly and was excited to try the burger. The burger looked halfway between McDonalds and Burger King. It's a burger - single patty with cheese, tomato, lettuce and lots of mustard. The taste of the burger reminds me of Burger King, but with the beef cooked on a flat griddle. While the burger was decent, one huge draw back was the amount of mustard they put on the burger. The mustard was overwhelming. I guess I just need to order it w/o the mustard or go light. Fries - not a fan. First impression - nothing special. Next time I'll order with light on mustard and try non-burger options. read more

Was craving a juicy, delicious hamburger! I wanted to be bad and have juices running down my chin, to feel the crunch of the lettuce, the crisp of the bacon and the sweetness of the tomatoes all wrapped up in a soft bun. There's a reason why I don't normally eat fast food. Whataburger sorely disappointed me I got a dry burger, so thinly sliced of a tomato it was hard to pick up off the burger to get a good look. Love the patty melts they are awesome as is the onion rings n French fries are really good. Love the spicy ketchup it's really good. Easy access to get in and out of, lots of parking. This review is specifically for this location, because I typically love Whataburger as a whole, but the wait times here are astronomical! Don't even bother with mobile ordering or curbside pickup because they will not bring it out to your car, especially during the recommended time of your food being ready. The drive thru will not be fast, but will be faster than this. I placed an order for work at 7:25 because I knew that they typically take a lot longer at this location for pickup. Arrived at 7:40 (after the recommended pickup time) only to wait at curbside for 15 min with no one in the drive thru or anyone coming out to my car. I finally decided to pull the car around the drive thru just to see if it was ready (it was). The workers were standing around and drinking orange juice when I got to the window. Then they gave me one bag with part of my order and I had to go back and get my second bag of food, because they forgot it. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the food has taken 25+ minutes and they typically always forget something. My last visit I ordered extra regular onions and extra grilled onions, only to receive none at all. Same with condiments! It's always a 50/50 chance the fries/food will be fresh as well. Okay so I'm a BIG whataburger fan. I LOVE the flat, large patties with the chopped onions. Mhm. However, this location takes a really long time to get through. I am from Texas and I love Whataburger but normally even though the food is made to order they are fairly fast! However, this is the first Whataburger I have been to where I ordered at 1:16 pm and did not receive my food until 1:45 - at that point you might as well go to a full service sit-down restaurant! The only saving grace & why they still get two stars is the food was still good. People were nice but something needs to be done otherwise the business will suffer & I hate to see that!! read more

The late night kitchen staff on 8/7/22 can't be trusted (I was there around 10p with my two sons). Both of us sick the next morning. Impacted flight out the next morning as well as football practice. You think you want to enjoy a burger with your kiddos, for fun, just before you travel out. The burger tasted ok, but bacteria can be tasteless! Serve fresh burgers (or only shortly-rested patties) or close your doors! Quit reheating old burger meat patties and getting people sick. You have a job. Do it. Thank you. So, the restaurant itself is just fine. It's your standard Whataburger fare that's on par with Whataburger restaurants. I'm not the biggest fan of Whataburger food, but their specialty burgers are decent enough, and their spicy ketchup is great. The issue with this location is that it's near two busy intersections with five lanes of traffic, and you can't access a light as you leave the lot. At certain times of day, it's just impossible to turn left out of there. You have to turn right, and then it's difficult to get over to the left lanes to get yourself turned around. There could be a way to access a light if a small right of way was paved right behind Whataburger and the restaurant next door, but no such right of way has been built. I recommend going to this Whataburger at off peak hours. The restaurant itself seems to be well run, and it's no fault of the managers that the location is so difficult. I hate to dock the restaurant a star for something that is out if the managers' control, but the traffic issues warrant it. read more

Would not recommend this place AT ALL!! They never get my order right (simple orders like "ketchup ONLY") My hubs and I were literally the only people there and they still took 15 minutes, managed to mess up our entire order, and gave attitude for no reason.
