Date: 11/08/2025 Time: 11:02 am Order: 588981 For the last couple of years, have purposely stayed away from Whataburger down in the Corpus Christi area due to food quality and customer service. Today, on a trip back home from Uvalde to the Corpus Christi area, for lack of an actual fast-food restaurant besides McDonalds, we unfortunately made the quick decision to stop at this Whataburger and ordered via the drive thru. We ordered 1 Number 1 with cheese, no tomatoes, extra veggies with mustard and mayo. What we got was a Number 1 with Tomatoes. The mustard was only at the bottom of the sandwich. The sandwich was warm at best and the french fries were much worse as to temperature for 11:02 am. We (my wife) also ordered 1 Number 1 with cheese, ketchup and pickles only. We made the order, and she repeated it two more times as the young lady was apparently bound and determined to have mayo put on it. Apparently, she may have got confused with Mayo and Ketchup, or maybe it was their similar colors? Well, when my wife got her burger, it had Mayo and Pickles. No Ketchup and Pickles only. Again Maybe "MAYO" AND "KETCHUP" sound the same even after stating it 3 times? She also requested hot/crispy french fries. The French Fries were literally barely warm, more than likely because they were pre-cooked and set under a warming light. it's understandable that everyone makes mistakes, I get that but sometimes you have to stop and ask, what is going on! Mayo for Ketchup, No Tomatoes for Tomatoes. Warm as opposed to hot. Made YOUR way! They need to try and make it MY way, not theirs. They either don't know how to do their job or really don't care. I think it may be a little bit of both. This is the very reason after spending over $21.00 bucks and get the poor food quality/preparation that is why we swore off Whataburger. Probably should have got a taco at the local gas station. I don't know about anyone else, but $21.00 dollars is $21.00 dollars. I earned my money and worked hard for it. I want the same in return, $21.00 dollars' worth of food as it was ordered. Poor Form Whataburger! Literacy, basic understanding of how to do a job is necessary even with taking orders/preparing food for customers. Secondly, Hey management. Try "Pay for Performance" . Us older people had to do that, or we had to look for work elsewhere. Oh well, shame on us, as we stayed away from Whataburger based on this. We very well should have stayed away from this location for sure. An experience at MacDonalds would have been a lot better. Do what you want, we however are done with Whataburger. read more

I ordered through the app when getting there they had no clue what I ordered. Told them what was ordered. I ordered a coffee with sweet cream, vanilla , and caramel and was charged extra. I got a black coffee with nothing added. read more

Food was good, service was good but however we are sitting at the front of lobby and there's 3 of us, there's another family close to us and the guy with mop comes out and starts mopping right beside our table and behind us, the problem was he could of started at the other side of the lobby, I asked if he could not do that, his response was does it bother you !! I did an online order and came in for pick up. I anticipated waiting because I made the order from the parking lot. The service here is a bit slow but I don't blame the employees. I don't think they've been trained properly for their roles. It appeared there were three people for FOH and the rest for the back. Reece was one of the FOH folks and he was doing the best he could. There was another kid working and he was doing okay but he was slow, he instructed another coworker where he left items for a shake then stood and watched until he was sure she was making it. Then there was a woman who I think was supposed to be customer support but she kept stopping to interject. The sweet tea was out, there were no napkins, and the diet Dr Pepper was going low. There's a line of cars waiting outside in the drive through and a bunch of us waiting in the lobby. Orders were being checked 3-4 times for accuracy when it really didn't need to be. The three up front were bringing orders out instead of calling numbers for patrons to pick up, slowing the process even more. All in all, they did what they could with what they knew. I think more training and management on site at night to audit to ensure people are within their roles and understood them would help with efficiency. What I will applaud is the team. Despite being inundated on a Sunday night with a bunch of customers waiting, they were troopers and did the best they could. From and industrial/organizational psychologists standpoint, you've got a great team, just the need for standardized procedures specific training of roles. With that in mind, I don't doubt that this could be the best location in Texas! read more

I have always had a positive experience at this Whataburger. Service is always quick and courteous. The young men and women who bring us our orders at the curbside location take very good care of us and make sure we have everything we need and that our order is correct. My beautiful wife and I eat at this location every Friday evening. read more

Clearly, this establishment knows nothing about customer service - the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. I had to wait 35 minutes to get a mobile order only to receive it cold to the touch. No apologies for the wait not even an excuse. So I ask for a new burger only to be told that they weren't sure how much longer I'd have to wait so I ask to cancel my order. I spoke to the manager which was pretty useless. All in all, this Whataburger has permanently lost my business and has tainted the franchise, In n out, burger boy, etc I'll be making the drive to SA just for that. I love Whataburger but after my visit today I don't think I will return. If you are in town and thinking of eating at Whataburger runaway. Don't go through the drive thru unless you want to wait for 40 mins or more. Don't use the outside lane . The lane closest to the building is much faster. I regret waiting 40 mins for "fast food" . Whataburger is one chain that used to not make sense but each day I live in Tx makes More sense. The food it good for fast food, it's consistent and it's open 24 hours. Pathetically slow!!! Almost 30 mins in a drive thru for "fast" food... don't know what's going on but not worth it!

They're pretty slow at getting food orders out no matter when you go, but most of the employees are very friendly and good at apologizing. You will easily be in the drive thru line for more than 20 minutes at lunch and during dinner time so be prepared. read more

Some Whataburgers are 50/50 .. this one , The management is bad , my order has been wrong multiple times & the way the food is treated on the burger LOOKS SLOPPYYY , please respect the food & not slap it on there , adult & kids still eat with their eyes before they even touch it yet . Worst experience of any Whataburger ever. Waited 10 min in drive thru at B line speaker, without anyone coming on to say "we will be with you shortly" or even a good morning. Finally took my order and pulled up. Waited 20 min before I could even pay. When employee came out for payment, he asked what I had, and wrote it down on his hand. Awesome pancakes worth every dime, the are freshly made to order and are nice and thick and normal pancake size. I could not eat all three so be ready to share. Service is good for a fast food restaurant. read more

Went into tonight not a big fan of of this place tables weren't clean you will be asked your order pay given a number and handed cups , to a fountain station that wasn't really cared for, when I addressed to the manger she told the cashier that was up there alone to make a new pot of unsweetened tea , few customers came in back to back so are food was brought to the table, and I asked again for unsweet tea , a worker from the back came up with a unsweet tea and informed me if that tea wasn't better to let her know she would make a new pot. Had the fish sandwich doesn't look anything like the pic on the menu if you like fish sticks its the equivalent to that. The location in Pleasanton is trash. I waited in line for over thirty minutes for them to service and complete orders for four different cars that ordered after me. When I finally received my order it was wrong. The only thing that was right was ONE of the drinks. When this was brought to their attention, not one employee apologized and I had to wait even longer because the food I had ordered was given to someone else. I've had bad experiences at this location before but I thought they were just one off situations. Clearly this location and most of the people that work there are not service industry oriented. read more
