The food here is always top notch. There's so many things I love I couldn't put all of them in this small space they're also clean restaurant. The ambience is always friendly. People are eating having a great time and the food again is wonderful especially the melt burger that has the onions and peppers that are sautéed. They are truly sautéed! Their biscuits and gravy they're chicken and biscuits. Everything is great there and the people are very very nice get you some! And they give either a free cup or a discount for seniors I think it's a free senior drink can't beat that and you can also get a small aversion of the burgers, which is what I usually Do. read more

The food and the other people who work here were great and super nice. However, a cashier named Madison D. was yelling at customers and yelling at co workers across the store. I read the other reviews and a lot must have changed because this place is awesome. EVERY employee has been pleasant and very helpful. They ALL made me feel like they were happy to accommodate my every request. Need a little cup of mayonnaise for your fries? "No problem". Need a little cup of mustard because you're not sure you will like it on your burger? "No problem". I'm here working a turnaround and I've frequented this place the last month. Fires always hot and salted to perfection. Burgers just as fresh and delicious. I'm most impressed again with the employees. I'm gonna miss them as I'm heading back to Louisiana today. If I could give ZERO stars I would. The food is NEVER fresh, always cold. The employees just do not care, period. My Whataburger junior was ICE COLD, no joke. I called & spoke with Mr. mike & while he was nice, it still doesn't help the fact that Jackie Pauley needs to fix this place. I swear this location is on the local town talk page about how disgusting it is. A couple months ago a customer found a a piece of a plastic bag stuck to the ice at the bottom of her cup!! Delicious, but note it will take a while to get your food as they make things from scratch. My favorite here is the mushroom swiss burger, reminds me of the Hardees sauce version from childhood, though needs more mushrooms. Note they bring out a tray of condiments to hand serve you after giving your bag of food to go, so that's a nice touch. This is the worst Whataburger we have ever been to. I ordered chicken bites with gravy and the gravy was like water. The kid working was like whatever it is just how the person made it. Didn't apologize or anything. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger with no lettuce or tomato and it came out with just pickles. The fries were cold. We don't live near a Whataburger so when we travel we always stop if there is one near. This one severely disappointed. We also ate in the dining room and one of the workers as us and two other tables were in the dining room yelled "Hey (insert name here) we are going to go smoke before you go home." The whole dining room heard. Very unprofessional and should not have been shouted in the restaurant. The toilets in the bathroom also looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months! I took video of the gravy but I can't attach video but attached are the toilet pics. We definitely will NEVER come back to this Whataburger and someone should look into doing a health inspection here. read more

I took 4 kids through the drive thru and it took 45 minutes to get 4 kids meals to me and the working crew was mad because they thought I reordered my meals when in actuality they gave my meals to someone else in the drive thru. I ordered my burger, 3 minutes later I arrived with patrons still sitting inside and I had to wait... they locked the doors with folks literally inside with locked doors. Outstanding service and food! All of our Whataburgers in the Tampa area closed down a few years ago, so this was a delightful little treat nestled away in the quaint town of Ocean Springs, MS. We arrived at 11:03 AM, placed a breakfast order and were told that breakfast ended at 11 AM. The cashier then paused and said, "But lemme see if they will still make it." When she returned, our breakfast order was permitted, much to our delight. We ordered a chicken biscuit combo, which is a fried piece of chicken stuffed into a fresh biscuit and topped with some sort of magical honey sauce. It's BANANAS! We also ordered a #1, Whataburger combo meal. Also, very good and just how I remembered it tasting. Everything was hot, fresh and made to order. I've had the worst experiences of any fast food restaurants here. One time I waited an HOUR for my food while sitting inside in the waiting section. It would've been longer if I didn't get up and ask them what was taking so long. I could've gotten an actual meal at an upscale restaurant for that wait time (and with Whataburger's rising prices, nearly the same price). Another time they forgot to give me my drink in the drive thru. They closed the window and walked off, so I went inside to ask for it with my baby in tow. I stood in front of the counter for a good 20 Minutes while the employees stood behind the counter making small talk and ignoring me. The milkshake machine and ice machine are constantly out of commission. I can go on. This is Ocean Springs for goodness sakes. I would expect better from here. I've had better service at the small dingy McDonalds in New Orleans. I only tolerated them because that mushroom Swiss burger and chicken fajita taco was really good. But now that they got rid of the best things on the menu, I have zero reason to go back. read more

Been coming to Whataburger for over 40 years now. My favorite fast food for Burgers. I used to be just a #2 combo person, adding grilled onions and grilled jalapeno's. But one day a couple of years ago, I thought I would try their Mushroom Swiss Burger when it came out. I was hooked. OMG. what ectasy! I knew it was supposed to be "for a limited time only". I began just getting this. I was devastated when the "limited time" was up. But I went back to the #2 combo route. Because it is still a great burger. Then, a few weeks ago, they said that the Mushroom Swiss Burger was back For Good! Great! Go here, try one. You will not go wrong with this! (Or the #2 either, for that matter) read more

This was my first Whataburger experience. They don't have these up North in Ohio but we've heard good things. I'm leaving this for all the people who have never been and are curious. The burgers are really good. Bigger than most other fast food places. Kind of like Wendy's but better! The original single is plenty filling. You have to ask for cheese-FYI. The fries are much like Steak and Shake - thin and crispy. There are special condiments available for dipping. The workers are super nice. I thank them for a great lunch. Worth a try. Enjoy. read more
