Once sat, I ordered the deep eddy's sweet tea/lemonade, some cheese bombs, and the i c o n i c mushroom Swiss burger with a side of Mac and was thoroughly impressed. Woody's usually never misses (from the time when I lived down here full time) but they were on their p's and q's this go round. Server (her name is Candace, spelling might be wrong but holy crap ask for her!) was fab, bartenders SlappedXSquared and although the place was busy, I was attended to promptly, could hear myself think (the vibe was chill even though it was busy), and had phenomenal service. We beat the Sunday church crowd by about 30 minutes. I decided to try the "Nola" burger (listed as the same blend I had at other locations) topped with blackened shrimp and creamy sauce. I ordered my burger medium well. I usually go with medium, but this being a beef and sausage blend patty, I like it over 150 internal. My burger came to the table RARE at best. Took one bite and immediately saw red...in the patty. To their credit, they re-fired and served me a well done burger pretty quick. The patty was all beef and not a touch of seasoning or salt. The cream sauce was a savior, it was nice and flavorful though partly broken. It did not make up for this (now) overdone and flavorless burger patty. The shrimp were fantastic, especially dipped in this Cajun cream sauce. Then I paid witness to something I have never encountered. The hosts tried to seat a party with a person in a wheelchair, in an end booth. Obviously, they immediately protested and had to explain why they couldn't be seated in a booth. They were quickly moved to a table...but this just shook me on how either untrained or uneducated folks can be when it comes to disabled. Shake it off, back to the review. The fries were delicious and hot, just like the ones at the other locations. I think maybe they make their own ranch dressing, it was killer with my piping hot and crispy fries. The Bloody Mary was OK, glass rim was seasoned but spilled all over the napkin upon arrival. Service was friendly and adequate but otherwise unimpressive, had to call server over for the burger issue. If I had not have had such a flavorful burger at the other location, I probably would not have been as disappointed with this one. May give another try at this location, but will probably defer to the other location given the choice.

That's what we get for going at lunch time in July on a sunny day. The bacon jam burger was all I wanted. It had shoe string fries and was cooked PERFECTLY. After losing the…read moretwo different Krystals we used to have in Gulfport, there was a void for small burgers that was first filled by Savvy Sliders on Highway 49, and now this new Smalls Sliders in Biloxi by the mall. First off, you should know this place has no inside seating. There are outdoor tables, but in this South Mississippi summer weather when the heat index often goes over 100 degrees, outdoor seating is a no-go. I ordered the triple slider combo which are three small cheeseburgers with fries and a drink. You can pay extra to get double meat or bacon, but I decided to go with the base model. The sliders are slightly smaller than a Jr. Cheeseburger from Wendy's (which happens to be across the street) if you want a comparison. The sliders were very impressive to me. The beef was fresh and the patty was thicker than I expected. It looks like it was made just there and not some uniform frozen patty like most places serve. The buns were soft and flaky, like brioche style. Three was plenty enough to fill me up. Their fries are cut just like Chik-Fil-A, but they are much crispier and have a seasoned coating that's fantastic. You also get quite a lot, which impressed me. I've noticed most places seem to skimp on french fries for some reason, so this was welcome. I did not pay extra for their dipping sauce because they were so good even without ketchup. I went here at 12:30pm on a weekday and service was quick. Only a couple of cars were ahead of me and I only had to wait a few minutes. I heard they were a little slow when the place first opened, but that was to be expected. Seems like they got it figured out now.

I think that's the reason they stand out. I probably won't go back because I'd rather get service with a smile and delicious chicken at any other place.
