We left the race track after a long day of working in the pits. After 11pm, we were looking for the nearest Whataburger because we knew they would be open. We didn't know that we picked the Whataburger with the... WORST SERVICE EVER! Drive through business was going on but we came inside. Only a couple of booths were in use. Several people were standing at the counter but they weren't being served. A nice employee walked up and apologized for the delay and took the order for a large group. Someone in the back, no doubt the manager, said something to her and she told us that they weren't taking orders for a while. The cooks had to get caught up. In the meantime, the counter lady kept busy delivering cups, food and condiments to people who were waiting. There was 1 woman ahead of me in line. We waited for 20 minutes (along with the line of people behind me) for them to take our orders. When approval came from the back, the counter lady took orders from the woman ahead of me and me. My friend, standing next to me, wearing a shirt that matched mine, was told that they were delaying order taking again. Since it was obvious that we were together, don't you think she would have tried to keep our orders together?? I wished I had included his selections on my order because it was a half hour before she came back and took orders again. Maybe they should have had chairs at the counter if they want you to spend your time there. The counter lady kept busy, filling my prickly pear raspberry drinks and leaving them on the counter so I could eventually come looking for them. She also brought us our food and condiments. The food was good but the floor was dirty & littered. Tables hadn't been cleaned. Was the counter girl supposed to do this, too? If so, they should have provided her with roller skates. My buddy finally got his food. His onion rings were stone cold. Bet they were fried about 40 minutes earlier, along with mine. I was going to give them 1 star but bumped it to 2 stars because the counter lady was trying hard and she felt badly about the short staff and delays. read more

We have eaten at whataburger many times but not this location & I don't plan to stop here again. We arrived around 11 and lobby had about 10 people ready to order. Girl taking orders took 2 then walked away she left behind the counter to fill drinks in lobby or deliver food to people sitting down then would go back take 2 orders and leave to do other things. Took us about 25-30 min to get our order in our friend who had same shirt on as ours and was obviously we were together had to wait to order. We had our food delivered to us and almost finished before he even got his order in. Unbelievable he ate as we sat there and didn't lave till after 12:30. Many many people came in as I sat there waiting and they stood in unmoving line then turned around and left-we all wished we had also. Very very disappointed in the service here. I also got the prickly pear drink it was OK but don't think I'll order it again. read more

Dummy's never say when they are out of sweet tea instead they replace it with something completely different!! I got a sweet tea and pretty sure they gave me prickly pear juice or whatever tf. Well, what can you say, been in Texas two days and this is my second whataburger visit. This one just outside of dallas on my way to Houston. Again great service and greeting when I got to the counter. I ordered the jalopeno burger again. Piping hot with fries. Again the jalapeños had a nice kick to them. At the end of the day, all I want is a good burger. Whataburger delivers. Very easy access off of the interstate and a easy return. The only question I have, is when are you going to make the trek out to las vegas? read more

Arrived at 2am on 9-15-23. Dining room was clean, pleasant atmosphere. Ordered my food and dined in. Food was fresh, and prepared with care. Which is very rare these days. Most fast food places simply throw it together as fast as possible and don't care how it looks or care if you like it. This place made a nice meal, fresh French fries, well prepared hamburger, and just a nice overall visit. I can't say that the staff was friendly, as no one said a word to me, not even the manager who took my order. But no one was unfriendly either, the staff just talked amongst each other, and I enjoyed my meal. This would be the best Whataburger experience food wise, and cleanliness wise I think I have ever had. This should be the Whataburger that everyone visits for their first Whataburger experience. Well done. Maybe throw a smile at a customer next time though. read more

Took forever to get through the drive thru at 10:00 in the morning and for some reason it seemed as if nobody knew what they were doing inside. I spent over 30 minutes just to waiting in the drive thru for my food. On top of that the Hispanic girl at the window was rude to me as well as there were several black males that kept mean mugging me while I waited for my food. After receiving my food I found that they left out an item I had already payed for and that the food was cold. The line inside was too long to go complain so I definitely do not recommend stopping at this place. Management needs to be fired. read more

The only reason I gave this Whataburger is that I couldn't leave none, nada, zero or zip stars for them. The only thing worse than poor service or bad food is trying to steal from me. I used to eat at Whataburger once a week or more, but on my way to Rockwall this weekend I got hungry and so I decided to grab a quick Whataburger and I had a coupon for a free bacon Whataburger with blue cheese. Right right what's better than a free Whataburger? As Whataburger was one of my only fast food places I would go. Years ago I had all my nieces and nephew convinced that my extra long one ton pick up truck would not go through McDonald's drive-through, I refuse to feed anybody I love chicken McNuggets. But they went along with it and I never had to drive them through McDonald's. Now they're mostly grown up and out of the four of them I think there's only one that still eats at McDonald's. Back to the topic at hand... They were busy and I was happy because a busy Whataburger is a fresh Whataburger. So I ordered my medium drink and my medium fries and tied to add a third patty to my freshwater burger with bacon and blue cheese. The girl on the box immediately said before the coupon is taken off it's $17 something.... I was shocked, at this point I have to tell you I'm a fairly thrifty guy, I do like my deals. I mean correct me if I'm wrong but you can still get a pretty decent steak and full meal for $17, not a huge Wagyu fillet mignon or anything but a decent piece of beef. But most of all I don't appreciate people trying to steal from me, So I asked her why it was so much and she replied that the third piece of meat rose the price up, I asked how much that third Patti was and she told me $ 2.25 I believe... So I told her never mind, I don't need the extra protein that bad. But I was still looking forward to this new Whataburger, until she said what my new total.... According to her it was gonna be over $11. I know things have gone up during the pandemic but it just didn't sound right to me... so I reply to her that that was OK and she could cancel my order as I was going to get out of line. Hungry and a little frustrated at the high cost of a Whataburger combo meal that was supposed to have a free Whataburger. So when I got to my destinations I got on their yelp site and really started steaming once I realize that she was actually trying to steal from me... When I got on the app I ordered a medium fry and a medium drink and it came out to five dollars and something cents.... Plain clear and obvious that she was trying to steal from me. Well that does it for me and anybody that will listen to what I have to say about Whataburger being a company that tries to steal from their customers. No I'm a reasonable guy, I think.... I know it's not A Whataburger policy to steal from their customers, but they are responsible for those that they hire to put on their uniform, logo and deal with the public on their behalf. I will never, never no never go to another Whataburger for any reason. This is just another example of a Texas or southern institution that has been destroyed by investors or companies from up North that just do not understand the Southern mentality and way of life down here. We are typically friendly and helpful and have just a little bit morality along with that friendliness than some others. We are not a Chicago or Detroit or New York City, we hold each other accountable for what we do. Has anybody else noticed that Whataburger has been getting lower and lower reviews ever since the group out of Chicago bought our beloved Whataburger, which for me is gone forever. So sad and sorry it happened. I will also be making a report to their national headquarters, because I just do not tolerate thievery of any kind. 5 start burger service here, they bring out your food and all of the condiments on a separate tray for you to choose from. The spicy ketchup is a must have on the fries. If you are in Texas this is a place you have to try. The only thing I would change is serving the chicken honey biscuit All Day! This little thing is delicious. Best burgers anywhere. They are open 24/7 and serve breakfast. The standout at whataburger is their KETCHUP. it's drinkable. Seriously. Also they still fry the apple pies like McDonald's did in the past. As far as the service, this place kind of sucks but it is 2 am. And the workers are dragging. Lol. I love this location because it is up the street from my companies terminal AND most importantly, they have truck parking! You should be able to find a decent spot if some of the other truckers aren't being rude that day, lol. The food is always fresh here but you do need to check your bag before leaving to make sure your order is correct. They have messed mine up on several occasions but fixed it immediately when I took it back in. My favorite sandwich from here is the Mushroom and Swiss with chicken instead of a hamburger. The fries here are always fresh also. I'd say I eat at this location about twice a month. read more

One of the nicer Whataburgers I've been to. Right off 45 just outside Dallas, this location was cleaner than most and the staff seemed very nice even though the place was pretty busy. I opted for the meal I usually get when I come here - which isn't often - and that's the chicken strip meal. Something about dipping those fried chicken pieces into their gravy satisfies the taste buds more than it should. read more

"SLIME IN THE ICE MACHINE" My Husband is a truck driver and would often stop at this location for breakfast. He had stopped going when the quality of service (including upkeep) and food declined. Recently he decided to give them another try. This particular visit went well up until he went to get a refill on his soda...this is where he found SLIME in his cup!!!!! His stomach turned INSTANTLY! As per usual this place is filthy. The nap is are out the drink station is gross the floor is nasty. The employees are nice and this is less than a mile from my house and I fuckin love whataburger. So that's why I come here. If one was closer I would not frequent this one. I have been to the one in Red Oak and it's always clean and stocked. I feel this one could be too if there was any type of management here. The have no leadership which equals a nasty restaurant. First - we are huge whataburger fans, so it's disappointing to rate this place with a one. Restaurant- tables were dirty, and generally the place was unkempt. Restrooms - weren't dirty per se but clearly not well maintained. Service was horrifically slow. On to the food - burger was super salty - not the usual whataburger salty, but super salty. I ordered a apple pie and after leaving discovered it was lemon - no attention to detail. Fries, cold and very stale. On the bright side they had a young man spraying down the parking lot....not sure why at 6:30 in the afternoon, when his services were need more in the dining room.
