I don't normally review fast food unless it's really good or really bad. This Whataburger is really good! The dining room is very clean, as is the men's room. That's a huge plus for me with fast food. Service was friendly and super quick. The food was hot and tasty. I am a bit concerned they may have turned down the heat a bit on the salsa and spicy ketchup. Either way, it needs to be kicked up a few levels. But that's on corporate, not this store. read more

Oh Whataburger, what's going on?! I'm on a road trip and stopped in the drive thru for an order that left me very disappointed. I ordered a #4 (jalapeno & cheese burger with everything), and two #1's (Whataburger with cheese plain and dry) and a side of country gravy. I ended up with a double burger with cheese, and the side of country gravy missing, but listed on the receipt. These items are on your menu for a reason, and it's very disappointing to see the receipt verify what I ordered, but the staff not correctly or double checking the orders. I waited in line from 7:00-7:30 and when I pulled up to the window to get my food the tea was unsweetened. I asked the guy if I may have sweet tea which is what I ordered. He gave me the 2nd tea and said "do you want to try that one and make sure it's sweet" I didn't. I should have, they gave me sweet tea with half the cup filled with sugar. When I poured it out it was like syrup and and sugar was all in the cup. Definitely need better employees! read more

We visited on 12/10/22 ordered inside at 1:15 pm, food was served to three other people before ours, we got out food at 1:45 pm. Five combo meals, they shorted us an order of fries, three of the burgers were completely wrong and the food was cold. Although they remade our burgers, we also noticed another couple return their food to be remade. I use to manage a fast food restaurant and I know what the standards are for turn around time and quality of food. Lately every time I come through the drive thru, no matter how many cars are in the line I'm typically waiting at least 15-20 minutes. Tonight was the last straw. I currently live in Commerce with no "hometown" Whataburger of our own so I'm making a 20 minute drive one way to come to this location. It was late, almost midnight, but I really wanted my favorite sweet & spicy bacon burger. There were 2 cars in front of me, I waited 5 minutes just at the speaker to order my food & then another 15 before I even received what was supposed to be my food. To irritate me further, when I pull up to the window there are 2-3 staff just standing around staring at each other and staring at me. Starving and eager to get home, I made the mistake of not checking my bag. When I finally get home I'm excited to finally eat. I pull out large fries, like 10 ketchup packets, & unwrap a double cheese burger, dry, with lettuce and jalapeños, which I am allergic to, so I can't even get over it and eat the wrong order. It's now 1am and I'm too irritated and exhausted to have to drive back to Greenville. This location is becoming ridiculous. This is not the first time they've gotten my order wrong, but the first time it's been this completely and totally wrong. I will be trying out the Sulphur Springs location. I was going to give this store a one or a two because they are super slow getting orders out. But I promised myself that I would mention my last two visits because I was astounded both times. The first time I was astounded, I happen to be waiting inside for my order and saw this light-skinned worker who appeared to be moving at lightening speed. She ran rings around every employee there at this time. I can't tell you what position she was supposed to be working on this day because she seemed to be running the entire store on her own. I was peeved because I had been waiting for ten minutes on my order. When she noticed that I had been waiting, she jumped into action to get me my order. The second time I was astounded, it was on a day I chose not to go in because, if I was going to have to wait 20 or 30, I'd rather be chilling in my car. To my surprise, this lady was the drive-thru worker on this day. Even then, I observed her doing many other jobs as I waited for my order. Even more, I didn't have to wait no longer than about eight minutes. I don't know who this lady is -- I asked for her name and it was something starting with a C -- but I hope that the company heads know about this "MVP" on their team. Because I believe that this team will become losers if she were to ever go to another team. My wife, Betty and I used to be regular customers of Whataburger (WB) and MacDonalds (MCD). We liked to dine in. We often had breakfast there when traveling. The WB breakfast on a bun beats the MCD egg McMuffin. Whataburger coffee is good mild columbian rather than the MacCaffe Vietnamese over-roasted robusta. Whataburger senior coffee is my favorite flavor: FREE. Micky D charges you for it and then tries to talk you out of free with their meal deal spiel. Whataburger was a good clean efficient family owned chain of restaurants. Now it is NOT GOOD since they sold out to the Chicago mafia. The new owner's leadership is on par with MCD Eaterbrook. Both chains are much worse than they were 5 years ago. The CDC mask debacle was perpetuated by both MCD and WB. Two kinds of people wear masks. Sick people and armed robbers. I don't want to see either where I eat. We were on our way to Arkansas on 6-03-2021 and decided to have a BOB (Breakfast on a bun) and coffee at the Greenville WB. It was 6AM, so the dining room was closed. There was a long line of cars in the drive-through. It took us 15 minutes to get to the ordering microphone. When I asked for 2 senior coffees the answer was: "We are OUT OF COFFEE" OK give us 2 orange juices instead. While waiting in line we noticed a police car in the pick up line drive away without picking up his order. After waiting another 15 minutes to advance 2 cars in the pay and pickup line, we did what he did for the same reason. We left before paying or picking up the order without coffee. FAST FOOD means fast ordering and fast delivery! DUGH!!! You don't go to WB or MCD for a champagne brunch! You should be able to enter-order-and eat in less than 15 minutes. We drove on down I-30 and stopped at the Whataburger in Sulfur Springs on exit 124. The dining room was open. We did not have to wait in line. They HAD COFFEE. We enjoyed our BOBs and senior coffee. This was more like. We came in ordered, sat down to a good breakfast and left in about 18 minutes. Whataburger should revoke the franchise of the Greenville WB. The one in Sulfur Springs 30 minutes later on the same day and 30 miles down the road was a world of different. In the future, when traveling to Arkansas, we will delay eating at WB until we get to Sulfur Springs. The Chicago mob have screwed up a lot. Thank heaven WhataBurger has kept their distinctive architecture. Steve Easterbrook adopted the "prison machinery shed" image for MacDonalds. I would rather skip a meal than stop at MCD. Ordered through the app, 99% of the time the order is correct. This time, not one single burger was how it was ordered or even what we actually ordered. Took the food back to get them to remake the order and the manager proceeded to argue that there was nothing wrong with any of the burgers and took them all apart on the cash register counter with customers behind me. After asking for a refund the manager reluctantly obliged and threw everything in the trash. After I was in my car she came running to my window and said, "look there is no mustard on here." I kid you not when I say she took it out of the trash to come show me. Unfortunately, the mustard was on the outside of the bottom bun AND it was missing bacon! It was supposed to be the Sweet & Spicy BACON burger with no mustard. But there was mustard and no bacon. One of the burgers was also supposed to be a double, no onions, and it was a single with onions, and the third burger was supposed be a single no tomato, no pickles, add mustard. They got the no tomato right, but left the pickles and I guess put the mustard on the Sweet & Spicy Bacon burger. This was one of the last decent burger places in town. My family and I will not be eating here again. Extremely disappointed in this establishment. Cannot recommend. read more
