It was a cool contrast using the chilled ketchup on freshly hot fries. The workers are extra friendly and do not rush you with ordering. The entire place was clean and cool. I'm glad these hot Texas summers didn't kill their air conditioning. I like that you can add a Blue Bell ice cream cone to your meal to really cool off. All in all, I would stop here again. Are they the biggest sandwiches? Not by a long shot. Did they taste really fresh getting chopped into my belly? Yes, that experience did happen. Unlimited Pepsi product refills while you dine in helps with getting you full. When you download the app, you get a free burger with your $10 order. That's essentially the cost of a combo meal there. Ask about what special promotions they may have that day. The app is pretty user friendly. Having 8 choices of Blue Bell definitely makes for an enjoyable time. One of the employees, a young Mexican woman, started making my sandwich and placed it in the toaster. While my sandwich was heating up, a young white female employee was standing around, not helping customers, and having a personal conversation with another customer about her nails. Once my sandwich finished toasting, it sat on the counter for nearly four minutes while the first employee began working on another customer's order. The young white female employee walked over, looked at my sandwich, but then returned to the register without doing anything. As my sandwich continued to sit, I politely asked her if she could finish adding the vegetables and sauces. She rudely told me she had something else to do and refused to finish my order. After I checked out, I noticed the white female employee laughing about the situation. Feeling disrespected as a paying customer, I addressed her and explained that as a customer, I expect to receive proper service and that she should have completed my sandwich before moving on to other tasks. This led to a heated argument between us, with several other customers in line witnessing the exchange. This is the fourth time I've experienced or observed this same employee behaving unprofessionally towards me and others. The lack of service, combined with her disrespectful attitude, has made each visit to this location unpleasant. I hope the management takes appropriate action to ensure better customer service going forward, as experiences like this reflect poorly on the Subway brand.
