We were asked about five times by different employees if the food was alright or if we needed anything. We barely waited for our food, which was alright because it always tastes the same. Went to this location at midnight and upon arrival, the place immediately looked dirty and disorganized, even with so few customers. One worker seemed frustrated and stepped outside for fresh air while eating. I ordered a honey bbq chicken sandwich and it was hard to eat. The cheese was not melted and the bread tasted extremely processed. The fries that came along with it were soggy. Overall, the quality of Whataburger has gone down in all aspects and I would avoid this and any locations. read more

Look, Whataburger, get your business in order. Why does it take 20 minutes to even order in the drive thru line. Then if you're going to have two lanes open, it's hit or miss whether or not both speakers are taking orders. I just sat in line for 3 cars deep for 20 minutes only for there to be no one at the speaker I was trying to order at. Whataburger is not "fast food". It's really slow food. In the last 10 times I think I've had to wait over 15 minutes. This location is the worst! Either try a different location or avoid the poor service all together. I love that this new Whataburger in C-stat is the only one that's convenient for people living away from the center of town. It is by far the closest to my apartment, and a lot of my friends apartments in town. The drive through is always packed but they seem to try their best to get the food out as fast as possible. With the girl and guy workers frantically running outside to exchange money for orders, they OFTEN forget items you ordered. Or even worse, usually give you the wrong order entirely. I highly recommend if you come here to order in the line CLOSEST to the window, and not the lane where they have to bring the food out to you. *** always check that you have your sauces, and correct meal/ drink before driving off. This is my favorite location in College Station. Always fast service - but it was lit on a Thursday night (I guess it makes sense - Thursday is a college students Friday) They were slammed but got the orders out quick and had a system going. Our order was only missing a gravy and we had to go to the counter to get ketchup since the lady handing out orders was in the middle of the restaurant passing out orders and calling numbers. This was my first and last experience here I am afraid. I was with people who chose What a burger for our lunch, I had never had one before. Asisde from being greeted by the man at the cash register yelling at us "we're closed" which we assumed was a joke as it was 4 PM on a Wednesday, he then charged for a full meal when only a burger without the meal package was ordered. When this was politely noted he became angry and went back to the apparently speak with the manager but was loud and could be overheard with unkind comments. The manager did come out and refund the over charge but the man from the cash register could still be heard complaining. He also shared his political views while taking our orders which is likely why he missed the "no just the burger please no package meal" when the order was placed. This same man brought the burger out on a tray and set it on the table in front of me and stood there as if waiting for more than my polite thank you. The burger was cold, despite supposedly being freshly made, squished beyond recognition with cold un-melted cheese as if added after the fact. Unfortunately it was not flavorful despite the unappetizing appearance of burger that literally looked as if it had been sat on once unwrapped. Within in only one hour of eating it, my stomach has been queasy and upset which never happens when I eat a Freddy's Steak burger. I get it fast food is not gourmet, but between questioning if the burger was tampered with and even still, poor quality for a burger that cost $8, I will not return to Whataburger anywhere. read more

This is the worst run establishment in all of college station, maybe the country. Whoever is in charge should be arrested. Because they are STEALING money from Whataburger. I am also very impressed at how fresh the fountain drinks on tap are, particularly the Diet Dr. Pepper. Please consider making the fries portions a little more generous. I love Whataburger, but WOW is this one run badly. It seems like two out of every three orders are wrong, so often the line of people waiting to get their order fixed is longer than the line waiting to order. When you go ask about something that they (inevitably) got wrong, you have to stand around for 10 or 15 minutes, and by then there's a solid chance they forgot about you and you'll have to call their attention to it again.
