Which is why I have to say it: I miss the homemade root beer. I mean, isn't that the namesake? Maybe not everyone loves root beer as much as I do, but those flavor combos were out of this world. I also miss the sweet potato chips with peanut butter. Management, if you're reading this, bring these things back! OK, gripes aside. The food is good. I normally go for the chicken sandwich, but the burgers are juicy, greasy, and delicious. I really haven't had a bad sandwich here. I hope they never take the pickles away. That's one of the few edges they have left. Though I'll say the last few times I went, the rinds were pretty chewy. The watermelon tea is great, really refreshing. Service is great too. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there and always eager to help. I also love that they have an outdoor area, which is usually too hot to use, but some evenings it's perfect.

Parking was easy--there's a public lot behind the restaurant, plus a few spots out front and along the side of the building. It wasn't very busy when I arrived, which made for a relaxed visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Triston took my order and did a great job, and another employee (I didn't catch his name) walked me through the menu and offered suggestions, which I appreciated. I kept it simple and ordered the "All American" burger with a side house salad. My food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I also liked that they had a variety of housemade and regular condiments available, plus a pickle bar in the corner--which is a fun touch. The side salad was anything but basic. It was fresh, colorful, and vibrant--definitely a win if you're a visual eater like me. The balsamic vinaigrette paired well with it too. As for the burger, it was solid. I liked that they serve the veggie toppings on the side so you can customize it exactly how you want. Just a heads up: burgers are cooked medium by default unless you specify otherwise. Overall, everything tasted great, but the portion was pretty filling--I only made it through about half of my burger. Prices were reasonable as well: $11.50 for my burger and $4.50 for my side salad. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu!

Great dispositions So far I've been here twice and both times I was satisfied. Pricing is pretty good and the food like I said didn't disappoint. I had the steak burger with everything and the beef was Juicy and seasoned nicely. I also had the mango habanero 6pcs the flavor was sweet and spicy but not enough for my taste . I probably should have ordered on the higher end of the spice spectrum. However the flavor was very good. Either way it's a nice sporty atmosphere with good music, not blaring . Definitely family friendly.

A relaxed atmosphere outside, we enjoyed the view. Our server was quick to greet us and bring us menus (though they DO have a QR menu available on every table). This was my first time here, and we had actually spied the current Burger Battle online before we arrived. It was a tough call, but Hatch chile season only comes around once a year, so we went with the "Hatch Me If You Can" burger with chiles, queso and tortilla chips. DELISH. But the real star of the show was the Cobb salad. It was loaded with goodies -- goat cheese, bacon, avocado and more -- but the absolute BEST part was the tempura battered jalapeños. WOOO-EEE. Those things were tremendous! And hot tip: there's a happy hour with $6 sangrias (I think they're called Rattlesnakes?). Whatever they're called, they were YUM. And yum again. A couple of less-great notes: the bathroom was kind of annoying. TP was out in every stall, and ladies, can we all agree that if you have to scoot back over the toilet in order to shut the stall door, the stall is too small? There is plenty of room in the bathroom, so that was a frustrating trip to the loo. Another hot tip: get the sweet potato fries! They seem to be less frequently ordered, which means you're more likely to get them hot. We were initially delivered someone else's order, and before I realized it, I did have one of their (cold) fries. Overall, a really tasty meal with some standout items. I'd definitely come back -- especially for that Cobb salad and those jalapeños!
