Arrived at 9:47PM on September 10th 2025 they said that there were don't serving both take out and dine in orders. Really disappointing. Just change you closing time all together. Really felt like the worker didn't want to serve anybody for the rest of the night. Ambiance is cool tho, and why would the door be open if you are not serving?

Dined here on a Saturday night with friends as a group of four. Space is bright & inviting. Street parking is limited but there is a parking lot nearby as well. I went with the spicy beef pho. It wasn't overly spicy & the broth was super flavorful. I really liked the beef as well. I have only had pho a handful of times so I am no expert but I will say I really enjoyed it! Also, my friends who are avid pho eaters loved theirs and had no notes. I had read mixed things about the service but our server was very kind & funny (i.e made fun of a friend for asking for a fork but said it was okay once he came back and friend ate all of his noodles). I can see how humor could not translate well but we laughed about it. Overall, I really liked What The Pho and will most certainly return.

stumbled upon what the pho today for lunch and it was just what I needed. The pho here is amazing! The broth is perfect and the portions are wonderful. I tried the Thai empanadas and they were very delicious! Can't wait to try other things

First time trying this place. First impression was the chai latte and pho soup, it was definitely worth the price. Prices for the food was decent. Service was excellent & the sceneries was nice as well. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. Give this place a try if you're in the Fort Lauderdale area next time!! #WhatThePho #GetYaPhoOn #PhoSoup #YummySoup

Egg noodle pork and shrimp Pho. Very tasty

My wife and I saw this spot walking around Wilton Manors and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is simple inside with not much atmosphere or feel good energy. When we walked in, we were not greeted by anyone and the server who honestly sucks just pointed at a table and mumbled you can sit there. This guy had zero personality and absolutely no emotion. Just a blank look and barely spoke. Nevertheless we ordered the crispy wings to start. It's a nice portion of wings, but sadly very bland. Outside of being a nice portion I can't say anything good. We ordered dinner and my wife had the beef in red curry and I had the egg noodle pork and shrimp Pho. Both these dishes were very good. Both had great flavor and were nice size portions. The red curry has a little heat to it and a great flavor. The Pho broth had a sweet and salty flavor. Neither of which over powered the other. Ready good broth. Because of the dinner dishes we agreed we would go back, but definitely will ask to not be served by the same guy if he is there. I gave 3 stars because the wings were a 1 and the service was a 0.

What the Pho is a hidden gem tucked right into Wilton Manors! It's a small unassuming restaurant that serves awesome pho and so much more! We stopped in for lunch recently and we were told to sit anywhere. The server came right over with menus and took our drink orders. I ordered an ice cold Sapporo and it was delicious! Then i made sure to order my favorite apps. The calamari, wings and pork shumai. The calamari was perfectly battered, crispy and crunchy. The wings, also perfectly coated, came out piping hot and the duck sauce was the perfect addition to their seasoning. The shumai, fried to perfection was filled with a great balance and each one was amazing! Then on to the main attraction, the Pho! I got the spicy beef pho. The ingredients are so fresh, you can taste it. The noodles are nice and soft, the beef is tender, the broth is packed with flavor and it has the perfect amount of spice! I finished every last drop! Needless to say, I'll be back again and again!

Coming from someone who has spent almost half of their life in Asia, I can say the food at What The Pho is as authentic as it gets. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff here are very friendly and professional. I felt like they took great care of me. Will definitely come back for more!!!

I looked this place up while I was on vacation. I've eaten it at another place nearby but I wanted to try this place out. On top of the catchy name I was curious about the selection of food choices. When I got there, I decided on rice noodle pho with shrimp and pork. It's whole shrimp very tasty and fresh in the pork was excellent. The service is very friendly very cordial and very welcoming. It's amazing how much time the weight staff and cook come and talk to you and ask how you're doing. We had a nice really conversation and it felt like a bit but of home back in California. The ambience is decoration is phenomenal. It's really really a nice place where you can dress down or dress up, but I was also thinking it would be great for events. Due to the fresh ingredients in the great cooking skill in the flavor of all the food I give this a rare five stars. I do think I'm gonna come back here this week and I do feel like it's a bit of home.

Ask the Community - What The Pho

Is the chicken pho also made with beef broth?

    I'm not sure.

Is any of their Pho Vegetarian-friendly? I know it's a beef broth, but there are sometimes miso/soy/mushroom broth versions at other places.

We had one vegetarian with us - there was atleast one vegetarian option on the menu. I forgot what it was because we didn't really pay attention to the menu. The owner came over and ask about what we liked and and so on, including the vegetarian…

Loved it here! Any tips for parking?

Ample municipal parking just across the street, in front of the Library.

She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quickly, and as always, it was absolutely delicious. This time, I ordered the Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm, and it was amazing. The tofu was perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside while staying silky smooth on the inside. The portion is meant for two people, but it was so good I could have finished the entire platter by myself. Every bite was delicious. What impressed me the most was the level of customer service. I noticed a gentleman, who I believe was the manager, personally greeting guests at the door and shaking hands with customers he knew. He paid attention to every detail. Before my son had even put his empty water cup back on the table, he was already there refilling it. That level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their guests. You can tell this restaurant focuses not only on serving great food but also on creating an outstanding dining experience. The place is really clean. That combination is what keeps us coming back. Whenever we're in Florida, Pho Bar Vietnamese Kitchen will always be worth the drive. Highly recommend!

The main reason was one particular soup they serve that you don't see very often locally: Tom Cua, a crab and seafood soup with egg whites, surimi, shrimp, and I believe squid. It's a nice change from the usual pho options. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal reminded us why we haven't been back in a while. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. The rocket shrimp appetizer had been overfried, the egg rolls in Rachel's bun dac biet were noticeably overcooked, and the grilled shrimp on top were dry from being cooked too long. My lemongrass beef arrived with far more onions than beef, and the beef itself was on the tough side. None of it was inedible, but compared with the consistently excellent meals we've had at Pho Gia Vi, it just wasn't close. The Tom Cua was the one dish that justified the trip, but everything else ranged from average to disappointing. I'm glad we went back because it answered the question of whether our memories were accurate. They were. We'll stick with Pho Gia Vi from here on out. It's closer to home, more consistent, and every visit leaves us happy.
