We had reservations but it wasn't overly busy so I don't think they were necessary for that day and time but I would definitely recommend on busier times. I love the fact that this is more of a tapas style restaurant so you can order and taste a ton of options. Plates are generally around $14-22 per plate and they have enough for three or four (tapas style). We started with crab dip and oysters on the half shell (raw). The crab dip was rich and creamy and served with buttered crusty, buttered bread. The oysters were amazing too but a little nuance about these: they are listed by region (e.g. West Coast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.) and not listed as they type of oyster. Oysters vary greatly within a single region so I would encourage you to ask what specific oysters they serve for each region (they will look it up and tell you) to make sure you know what you are getting. We also ordered the calamari, small salad (unlisted option for the salad listed on the menu) and poke bowl to share. We went in hungry and probably ordered too much because this was all to start off. Everything was really good and worth ordering. For my "entree" or ordered the trout which comes with lentils and broccolini. This dish was fantastic and highly recommended. The trout was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waitress, Tiffany, was amazing and did a great job. Additionally, this is the perfect spot for a "dinner and a show" since it is right beside the Knight theater. Parking is easily accessible at the Green Garage right across the street.

This restaurant is very nicely designed. It's visually appealing with tables indoors, a bar area, and an outside dining area. The hostess and my server were professional and extremely nice and made my dining experience very pleasant. The reason I am giving three stars instead of four or more comes down to value. Seafood is expensive, I get that. But I don't know that there's much value to be had here. Portion sizes are small relative to what you're paying for. And in my opinion, while the freshness and the quality of the seafood may be there, the flavor is not. I have no doubt that the quality of the seafood here is good. But I did not enjoy anything I ordered. I wasn't put off by the food, but I wish I had wanted to savor each bit. I ordered the cajun grilled oysters and the miso sablefish. I thought both were too salty and despite paying over $40 for the meal, I left still a bit hungry.

Hubby had to park on the second floor of the garage. It's near Trader Joe's and Best Buy, so the garage is extremely busy. The lady at the cash register was really nice and gave good recommendations. She said the spicy chicken was her favorite, so that's what I got. It really was good. Plus they have teriyaki sauce in a bottle on the tables so that you can add more flavor. The only problem was that I asked her 3x while ordering to please be sure the veggies were not al dente and to be sure they are very well cooked. The veggies came out al dente. This was extremely frustrating and we took the veggies home to cook more thoroughly. I wasn't going to ask a 4th time. Hubby got the teriyaki steak and it was very good. He didn't eat his veggies either though. We both ate the meat and rice then asked for a bag to take our containers home to cook the veggies. Entrees are served in to go containers. There are fountain drinks. I got the combo which also included an egg roll with ground chicken, which was pretty good. We also got the pot stickers and those were good too. I'd say this place is a step up from Panda Express. Dining room is very casual.

We saw that they opened at four so we were there right at 4 PM. The door was locked and within a few minutes, somebody came and opened the door, but he was there to set up for a poker event that was happening. The owner/bartender was not even there. So after about 15 minutes, he finally shows up and is not even ready to start Buisness. We wanted to order some cocktails and sit on the rooftop bar and enjoy the view. One person ordered a beer and his keg was not even ready. He finally goes upstairs. Brings one down and tries to pour the beer and it was 77 degree beer, who wants that! A few of us started ordering cocktails from the menu not all of us even got our drinks and some of the others were watered down. My husband went to Pay the bill and we were overcharged! Paid almost $100 for crappy drinks and service! The trash cans were still full from night before too!! When we walked out to leave the poker guy met us outside to tell us we're not the first to complain and the owner has issues. He should not be in business.

We were at two doors on ground level by parking, both locked. "Open" neon sign at one door that was off. We wandered the inside hallway looking for another door, and only found one with no handle.

Great poke spot!…read more Came on Thursday to grab poke to go. They were super friendly and hospitable when my bride was asking questions, and offered her the chance to sample. The flexibility in ordering the amount of protein portion for BYOB and the unlimited options for toppings was right down our alley. They were so accommodating for my bride, asking her if she wanted items on the side for items she was unsure (she goes to poke because I like it :) We both really enjoyed our bowls and this is our new "go to" for poke. There are a few street spots for takeout and then a garage that seems to require payment. I never did figure that out. Poke was great. We tried the "First Timer's Bowl" and the "Tuna Bowl", both of which were good portions with a nice variety of flavor and texture with a good portion of fish. You can also build your own. Prices were decent considering that this is a few ounces of sushi-grade fish with lots of toppings. A nice meal, very enjoyable, perhaps a little steep if you were actually buying two. But with the BOGO? Yes, that's pretty darned awesome and now that we've been here, we'll be back. [Review 2394 of 2024 - 3853 in North Carolina - 23407 overall]

Light, fresh, and a solid pivot if you're trying to keep things a little less indulgent after demolishing chowder like I did. The space itself fits that uptown energy--polished but still relaxed enough where you don't feel like you need to whisper while you eat.
