We will call a third time to see if they make good on their promises. We were going to take it for a pre- purchase inspection at our mechanic but they mentioned using Lemon Squad. Not the dealership's issue, but it turns out Lemon Squad were not able to come in time. We bought the car and found there were 2 parasitic electrical drains from add-ons by prior owner for a LoJack and a remote start. We had to spend a fair bit to get it resolved. Lesson learned perhaps. Our contacts were all pleasant but remember they are used car dealers.

One of the employees told me, "It's fine -- if you get a ticket, we'll pay for it." Which is absolutely false -- we confirmed with NJMVC that you cannot legally drive on expired tags. To make matters worse, 32 days after purchase, the check engine light came on. Clearly, they reset or disabled it when selling the car. The Carfax report also falsely stated an oil change was done -- I know it wasn't because I had to do it myself. After fixing one issue, the check engine light came on again. This dealership only cares about making the sale -- once you drive off the lot, they don't care about you or the car. I will never buy a vehicle from them again.
