The phone apointment process was smooth. The customer service was good. The day of the service. The service person was professional. He told me what to expect with the unit if I didn't get some things done. He gave me different options and later on I was sent an email with quote. Everything was very professional. I had some questions. I called back the company. They were answered and I felt better. I liked the company. I read some of the negative reviews. I was a little nervous. I disagree with your characterization of this situation. My husband and I own multiple rental units…read morein South Florida, and this is the first time we have experienced an AC installation requiring repeated return visits to get the system operating correctly. Whether you consider the wiring issue minor or significant, correctly configuring the wiring is part of completing the installation. Returning to correct it was your responsibility. It does not erase the inconvenience or the time we spent dealing with the problem. We paid approximately $6,500 and expected the installation to be completed correctly. We recently had another licensed company install an AC system of the same size for $3,200, without requiring multiple return visits. That experience makes your pricing and service particularly disappointing. I also do not appreciate being told that my complaint was "taken out of proportion." We contacted you about the problem, and our concerns deserve to be addressed respectfully. The fact that this is a rental property does not lower our expectations for professional service. I am requesting a partial refund to compensate for our time and the inconvenience caused by the repeated visits. Please respond with a proposed refund amount and a timeline for resolving this matter.

Robert McGill Air Conditioning just replaced the aging A/C unit in my house. I couldn't have had a…read morebetter experience with them. I found them to be affordable, neat, thorough, and to take care that they did the job right, not just in the way that made them the most money. The city inspector just came and made a comment that their job is easier when it is a Robert McGill job, because they never find any problems. Talk about an endorsement! I would highly recommend them! Update: I just got my first full month's electric bill in. Even though the temperature was hotter than the prior month, and I am keeping the house a degree cooler at night, the bill was $100 less than the prior month with the old unit! Nice!

We hired this company to install a new A/C and have had a maintenance contract with them ever…read moresince. The unit has failed maybe eight, leaking through our ceiling typically. Each time a new technician comes and we get a different story of what the tech. before him did wrong with a promise all is well now. Parts are under warranty with the manufacturer, but there is no warranty from this company guaranteeing proper installation of alarms or automatic shut downs to prevent flooding, for labor to reinstall parts, etc. So we end up paying for our ceiling repairs, apying for them to come out, install, etc. Now I have to have my ceiling repaired for the 2nd time. And this time I told the manager Derrick that I will not pay $731 to have this warranty motor installed. He said he understood and would call me back. I never heard from him again. Once it was installed, and fixed again, as it failed within 24 hours of being installed, Derrick waited a week, sent me the invoice and charged the credit card he had of mine on file. No follow up call required apparently. This is the kind of cowardly, inept service you can expect if you hire Robert McGill Air Conditioning.
