TERRIBLE COMPANY..... DO NOT CALL Dan Olson AC Service!!!! This company was recommended to me by a trusted friend, but to my surprise and disappointment they turned out to be very dishonest. On 1/3/22 I called this company to come and service my AC unit. It had been freezing up and not turning over and cooling properly. Sean Dunn, came to service the unit. He's diagnosis was.... "Check 2019 Trane for unit freezing up. Found unit running and cooling properly not freezing fat this time. Checked refrigerant charge and sub cool T/D and fan capacitor also checked contractor all good and up tp spec." Well after reading this you would think, wow problem solved! Well NO! I was charged $110.00 for the service call. While he did NOTHING to resolve my existing problem. Unit continues to freeze up. So I decided to find another company and see what they recommend. And I did, on 1/17/22 I had someone else come and recheck my AC unit. Well it turns out Sean Dunn misdiagnosed my problem entirely. The motor and circuit board had gone bad and needed replacing. This took 15 minutes for the new AC company to diagnose. While this guy, Sean Dunn was in my house for over an hour? So if you want to give your hard earned money away!!!! please call Dan Olson! He will gladly take your money and not fix your problem! This is a very dishonest company and I will not allow my friend to continue to recommend them! they're a bunch of dishonest people! My house AC quit working Sunday night. They were able to send someone 11am Monday who was kind and thorough. They were compassionate and patient with all of my questions. I'd used this company bc they were employed by my last condo. Called then for emergency service in my new home. The woman who answered the phones told me the ac was not able to cool adequately bc the temp was so high. Suffered through a pretty horrendous weekend and called them again. They didn't respond. Good thing I found a great service who came out and replaced a simple part for not very much money. About a week later I finally got a return call from DO. Funny thing, they called my number and asked for the person who had purchased my last home. Don't bother with these people. read more

So disappointing that this company, which we've used for several years to service our a/c unit, has, in this troubled Covid19 time, became nasty. Called them out to hopefully fix our a/c. As soon as the technician left our house, the problem with the unit re-occurred. Called to report this and spoke to Dan Olson, owner. He sent out a 2nd tech and at my request didn't charge for the 2nd call-out. We paid $185 the first time around. Subsequently the problem wasn't solved due to the age of our system. We requested a quote for a new a/c system, and also started shopping around for comparison quotes. After additional requests to Dan Olson, we finally were sent a quote that was over $2000.00 more than any of the other companies we'd received quotes from. I decided to call Mr. Olson today to explain that his tech's visits didn't solve our initial problem. He was extremely rude and unprofessional , talking over me constantly and interrupting when I tried to explain my situation. Then he got personal and referred to his assumption of my relationship with my husband!!! Clearly this is one troubled man. Needless to add we will not be using Dan Olson ever again. In these difficult times when people are coming together and businesses are trying to stay afloat, I would have thought it prudent, as a business owner, to go out of one's way to create customer satisfaction and harmony. I'm not a "paying" customer but Dan got me out of a jam when he could have easily charged me for a service call and/or repairs. My AC went out and I called, expecting to schedule service. After describing the issues, Dan suggested I try something I could easily do myself. I did exactly as he suggested and my AC came back on with no further problems (knock on wood). I hope I don't need AC service in the near future, but if I do, Dan will be this only call I'll make. read more

When my a/c stopped working Sunday night, our HOA Vice President recommended Dan Olson. I called him at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning and he met me at my condo at 10:00 a.m. I thought I needed a new unit, but Dan quickly discovered the issue was a bad thermostat. He installed a new one on the spot and by 10:30 a.m. I had cool air again. I appreciate Dan's professionalism and honesty. I cant believe I'm the first to review this business. I have used them several time at this point but after yesterday's experience I decided to get to the keyboard. In my experiences thus far, this is a company that works by their mission statement: Our mission is simple: We care. We provide good workmanship and quality materials for a reasonable price. We do the right thing by people - and they tell their friends! This is spot on. I was referred to them by a friend and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know. In fact, I already did. They have done everything from help me over the phone (when they could've made a service call), fit me in last minute (like yesterday!) and everyone I have talked to from Dan himself to the scheduling admin have been awesome! They get customer service right. Because they fit me in last minute on a Friday afternoon, my house was 84*! now I'm sitting comfortably in my air conditioned home on a Saturday morning . They knew I was willing to buy a new unit if needed but were able to fix it and did. I will buy a new unit soon and I wouldn't think of using anyone else. My AC unit was making some strange noises and they practically diagnosed it over the phone. They made sure they got the unit's info so they could bring the right part the first time.
