My son's first birthday was this passing weekend and I had a horrible experience with this company. I ordered a candy buffet back a few months back and had my delivery date set to august 30th. My party was September 14th. I received a partial order the week before the party and never received the rest of it. Customer service will tell you that they're short staffed but that isn't the customers fault. I paid $300 for an order that was put in months ago and didn't get what I paid for. I ended up having to buy additional candy from nearby store which cost me a lot also. DO NOT ORDER from this company because you will not be satisfied. If i could rate them 0 stars i would. I have used WH Candy before, in April, with no issues. But this time I had issues with ordering that the help desk did not support (they said to email all the data needed for the order). They are extremely RUDE, I bought some candy bars, I thought the candy bars were personalized but only the box they came in were personalized, unfortunately it was "my mistake" for not reading the full description. When I called and asked for an explanation this woman wouldn't even let me speak with such an unpleasant attitude, telling me that it was on the website in "bold letters" that the bars were not individually personalized, but she wouldn't let me speak until I had to ask her to let me explain what I was seeing. I had to chase down the UPS van as it was 96 today and the same yesterday. He had driven past my house at least twice and as I followed him on the online app it appeared he went everywhere except to our house! This with a package that says "PERISHABLE"??? I was not happy. I brought the box the 200 feet to my house and put it in the fridge - 100 bars of chocolate for our daughter's wedding. I dare not open it. After a half hour I could stand it no longer and I carefully opened it. WH Candy had packed the chocolate boxes in styrofoam and put in a freezer pack. The freezer pack was liquid and room temperature. I carefully opened the inside box and gingerly checked one bar of chocolate. PERFECT. Not melted. This company deserves huge huge KUDOS for doing the right thing and taking the time to correctly pack these chocolate bar favors. TEN OUT OF TEN. I'm a 100% SATISFIED CUSTOMER!! read more

I would give no stars if possible. Ordered graduation favors and paid for expedited shipping and then got an email stating that the shipping label was created on the same day the package was supposed to be delivered. I even gave a few days reprieve in case there was a delay but did not expect to get the package after the graduation party. How is that expedited shipping? Shouldn't the company make up for the delay??? Customer Service was no help what so ever. They told me there were production delays but the warehouse was not aware of when the packages need to be delivered by. No communication between departments and they just don't care. Sorry does not cut it. They should not charge for expedited shipping at all and just say you get your order whenever you get it. it's too bad if it's not in time for your event. Horrible customer service. I ordered 3 versions of candy bars for a graduation/baptism party. 2 out of the 3 bars were nothing close to what was ordered. The company provided a refund for the total amount of the bars they messed up but only refunded $5 out of a $43 shipping fee, claiming they miscalculated the shipping fee at checkout. That is not my mistake that they can't properly bill. When I was on the phone with customer service, the woman was condescending. There was no concern that a repeat customer with an upcoming function was left days to figure out a party favor. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that I was being sent to voicemail. I have no idea who's voicemail I left a message with but never again with this company. I ordered 120 candy bar wrappers for my daughters sweet 16, they were nothing like I thought they would be. That was disappointing, the printed wrapper part was so small it barely fit to wrap fully around the Hershey bar. Then I recieved a whole other 120 wrappers a couple days later so I looked on my credit card app and they sure enough charged me twice. I called and spoke with "Jessica" who said I ordered the wrappers twice why would I do that? I said well I didn't so how do I send them back for a refund. I was denied. I asked to speak with her manager and "Sam" got on the phone, I told her the story and was told no refund again. I asked for her boss, she gave me his name "Eric Mandel" but he dont speak to customers!! I contacted my credit card and put in a dispute. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Whenever I have a special occasion I order personalized candy from WH Candy. The chocolate is delicious and the wrappers are custom designed. I requested to be removed from their catalog list three times over the phone and email and I am STILL receiving catalogs. Really disappointed with this company. Friend's baby born on Tuesday, so I ordered some personalized candy bar baby announcements. I ordered on Tuesday and paid a lot for "2-day" delivery, which they said would come on Friday (that's 3 days, btw), but okay.. They did NOT come on Friday and my buddy and his wife and new baby went home, so I missed my window. I called WH and they could NOT have cared less. Guy said, "Computer says there was weather, so that's not on us." Yes, there was an inch of snow, but that is lame. CSR kept droning, "Hey, we can't control the weather, man." True enough, but they can control taking my money for expedited shipping and just shrugging at fact that, here it is, Saturday and the stuff still hasn't come. They would not offer me any rebate, or any sympathy, or even any courtesy. Plenty of places do personalized candy bars. Go use one of the others, not these apathetic, non-customer caring folks. The ease of uploading a picture and ordering on line was good. However, the personalized miniature candy wrappers I ordered were not of high quality. For what I paid, they should have been. The picture and text were off-centered on many of the wrappers. By off-centered I mean completely to one side. They looked horrible. If I would have had more time between when I received them and when I needed them, I would have sent them back for a redo or a refund. Would not recommend. read more

I am writing to praise the customer service at W H Candy. They specialize in personalized wrappers for candy bars which the customer can adhere to the previously purchased candy bar, or they can send you the pre-wrapped bar that is personalized. They specifically use Hershey bars and have a very wide assortment, from holiday themes to wedding themes and everything inbetween. I ordered Hershey bars pre- wrapped and personalized for a bridal shower. They arrived within ten days of placing the order and were in perfect condition. They come packed with a small ice pack and in addition are bubble wrapped. This is the second time I have used this company, and they are among the most reliable internet services I have ever used. I place an order in January 2018 for my daughter sweet 16 in april 2018 and I was able to schedule the date I needed it ship out in march 2 week before party. I rcvd order in 4 days and it was just as described. It was a great experience. I had more than enough candy and it was good candy. The owner called me just to inquire how everything was.
