Denno himself travels annually to restore his stock, and he knows where and from whom everything comes. He was very friendly and easy going, encouraging my wife and me to pick things up and check them out. With the Christmas shopping season just around the corner, Denno's International Gifts is the perfect place to find unique presents for everyone. They claim it hasn't permanently closed, but every single week since January the Goodwill Cincinnati Facebook page has updated saying, "Outlet store closed this week". No one answers the phone or gives a straight answer when questioned on why this store continues to say it's open when it's not. As a result, myself and others have had to take our business 30+ miles away to the Outlet store in Dayton or go to St Vincent DP's Outlet store on Este. The lack of communication and updates while insisting the store is open is a stain on the Greater Cincinnati Goodwill organization.

It's a one-stop location for wedding planning, rentals, vendors and a gift shop too. I first found out about it when owner, Karen, opened a second-floor meeting space after-hours to our local Bible study group a couple months before COVID began. Karen did this after simply striking up a conversation with one of our Bible study members who was shopping at her place. She is amazingly generous, and has created a beautiful space. I wish I'd had a one-stop location with a bit of human guidance, versus my web browser, when I was a stressed bride to be. Because The Wedding Place houses various vendors in its one space, a bride can look at invitations, check out availability of rental items, look at veils (a veil/headpiece shop is within the space, along with an invitation/stationary shop and a gift shop), and can arrange just about anything needed for a wedding, from flowers to a cake. The first floor houses the gift shop, offering presents for showers, bridesmaids or even yourself (candles, albums, wreaths, pillows and tons more). Some are handmade; some vintage and many can be personalized.

During our escapade, we encountered an eclectic mix of goodies, from massage guns to sand art and even a Himalayan salt lamp that whispered sweet nothings to my inner zen. Sure, some items may fall into the "you get what you pay for" category, but every now and then, you strike gold faster than a prospector in the Wild West.. Case in point, during our visit, my partner who's got a sixth sense for sniffing out deals, snagged some Coleman-brand car cargo liner for a mere $10 and a carry-on for less than $30 which might not be first-class for rough airport-handling but definitely sturdy enough to survive the tumble of cabin life, all without breaking the bank or your spirit. And talk about this sweet soul who gifted me an LED Water Fountain because he remembered I'm a sucker for falling asleep to the sound of rain and thoughtfully felt that the nifty water fountain would help me calm my mind and fall asleep on nights I have trouble falling asleep. In addition, there are multiple self-checkout stations and friendly staff on standby to assist. This place is like a haven of fabulous finds and wallet-friendly wonders.

Instead of letting us know when we began lining up 30 minutes before opening, he waited until 10:00 on the dot to open the door and let us know this location did not receive a shipment of squishmallows.

Went to The Chocolate Bee for the first time today. The chocolate pieces they make are so…read morebeautiful that you will hesitate to eat them, but you must because they are divine. Quite a variety and each one better than the one you just tried. Started off with a dark chocolate turtle which we ate while we were deciding what else to get. I bought wildflower honey on the recommendation from a friend. Then bought half a dozen pieces of chocolate to take home to share. The colors and the flavors are so enticing that we ended up eating all the pieces at one sitting. Even bought a chocolate Eiffel Tower as a gift. You won't regret going here.
