I call to make a appointment and was waiting almost 1hr just for them to answer my call and say hello once and end the call

I'm totally switching clinics. Just had an appointment because of a sinus infection (I believe) was throwing up blood in the morning , throbbing headache etcccc.... Went to my appointment and had the rudest doctor. Normally I would ignore it , but I've already had bad experiences in this clinic . I had some miscarriages and it's hard for me to go back to this clinic, so knowing I haven't been feeling good, I chose to come back to see the doctor. Through my pregnancies, and appointment they were never worried about me or my babies health. This last appointment is the last straw. Seeing how I got told there was nothing wrong when I've had migraines for weeks, runny, congested and bloody noses for weeks, as well as throwing up blood. Do not recommend this place. Flu season is back so of course I got sick. With the current pandemic in our nation I was concerned that I may be sick with the COVID-19. Additionally my symptoms were cough, runny nose, fever and shortness of breath. Additionally, I was afraid that I could spread the virus. I stopped in to make an appointment and they scheduled me a month out. I expressed that it was urgent that I get tested. They scheduled me an appointment that same week. When I came in for my appointment they refused to test me since all of my symptoms had ceased. I was a little bit surprised that they wouldn't test me when I had symptoms and after I had expressed that I had symptoms. We've been going to this clinic for about 7 years and the service has been nice. It was the first time a place ever scheduled me to come in on the same day. When my sons school thought he had ADHD the counseling services were nice also he was very professional from an adult standpoint as well as made it fun for my son to be sitting down all that time. The staff so far has been very nice towards us. It was sad when my sons' doctor had relocated (she had seen my boys since they were smaller) however their new doctor is quite entertaining :) I've always felt comfortable here and that my kids have been getting great care (because believe me if they didn't we would definitely go elsewhere) but until (if) that day comes we will continue to come to this clinic. read more

I have been to this office twice, and both times I have left confused and frustrated. I gave them two stars because I have not had trouble getting appointments, and the lobby staff was not rude to me. I can't complain about checking in, although, I have no praise either. The wait times were extremely difficult to endure with two toddlers. The lobby wait time and the examination room wait time are equally interminable. Both times I have gone for something involving my youngest daughter. The first time she had pinkeye (she was less than 12mos); the second time she had a well-child visit that I had been avoiding due to the experience when we went in for the pinkeye. Both times we saw Dr. Ortega, a "family doctor" and not a pediatrician. Although, according to the nurse, he sees kids every day, so there should be no reason to request a pediatrician after meeting with him twice and being dissatisfied twice. If he sees children every day he should have a better rapport with them. Our examination room had only one "kid" thing and that was an elephant mobile. There were no books or posters for my kids to look at. I gave them Web MD magazines. Flash back to the pinkeye appointment, after Ortega rushed in, diagnosed, prescribed and tried to rush out, I asked how long I should give the drops to my baby (never having dealt with infant conjunctivitis) and he said, "Until it's gone." And that was that. This time, he started the appointment by telling me my child was extremely overweight. He said she needed more vegetables and to be more active. He didn't say hi to her. He didn't ask if she eats vegetables or is active. She eats more vegetables than her skinnier sister and is way more active than her skinnier sister. When I said she is like her father (I meant broader chested and larger bone structure which is also like her grandfather) he said I should start feeding her better now so she didn't end up like her father implying he had a severe weight or health problem too. So he proceeded to do her examination, never talking to her and saying things to me like "pull this down" (meaning "please pull her pants down") and "could you" (meaning "could you hold her arm for me please") All the while my child is scared, screaming and crying. O: "Do you read to her?" Me: "yes" O: "Everyday?" Me: "yes" My child loves when we read to her. She also understands instructions and words and knows most of her ABCs and can count a bit. His tone was accusatory and patronizing. He concluded his portion of the exam by reiterating that she needed to eat better and I should make sure she gets exercise. Had he asked, he would have learned that she loves carrots and runs everywhere. She had just been running circles around the child area of their lobby. He did not discuss her weight amount or suggested weight amount, height, head size, temperature, heart rate, ears/mouth condition etc. To his credit, he did ask me if I had any concerns about her health. I said no. I was too shocked to ask about her percentiles. I was then passive aggressively shamed when I asked that my next appointment not be with him, as if I was the first person to have difficulty with him. I have since read reviews, and I am not the first. I left confused, disheartened, embarrassed, sad and less-informed than when I had entered the building. I left with more mom guilt than I already had, and I give myself plenty of mom guilt. We always wonder if we're doing enough for our kids and giving them enough opportunities. After that appointment, at least I knew I stuck up for my child by requesting another physician. read more

All patients, no matter the age and race, should feel discriminated by any medical physician. I took my significant-other here for sever stomach pains and the doctor waltzed in without even reading his chart and hurried through the appointment. She stood there tapping her foot and cut him off when he was explaining the reason for visit. Without even addressing his pains simply sent us home. Terrible doctors. read more

This doctors office is one of the most unprofessional and rude I've ever been to. All of the staff is self centered and don't show any care or empathy for their patients. Their hours are odd as well. Had a doctor test me for something and tell me they weren't going to tell me what they were testing for because they didn't want to deal with the head ache of me researching what it was to inform myself. Also when doing the first time patient profile they asked me if I knew certain information (I.e. weight blood pressure etc) so they didn't have to take it. Their patient portal is out dated and nobody knows how it works. Called them to get my lab results online and no one could tell me what I needed to do, straight up told me they didn't know and gave attitude. This office has no concept of customer service either. Don't go here if you want to feel like a valued patient and be treated with care. read more

This place is horrible to it's customers. Wasted trips, misplaced paperwork, inaccurate visit documentation, zero follow through... Everything you don't want in a doctor's office. I will never take my family here again, they should be ashamed of themselves. read more
