Do not, I repeat, do not ever use WEX (Fleet One) fuel cards. There is absolutely no security or safety whatsoever. Someone used our cards, fuel cards that are nonexistent in our fleet, and WEX allowed them to take $8,500 without our approval. Multiple times, over 3 days in a row, $900 and then $700, and so on, all totaling $8,500. We did not even know that you could get cash with those cards. They blamed us for it and took the money out of our account. The customer service was horrible, and the experience was abysmal. I'll see if I can gather enough money to hire a lawyer and pursue legal action. I just hope nobody else has to endure this. read more

I was told by Wex that the provider charged too much money for a line item, but the agent on the phone wasn't sure which item was overcharged. She said I needed to reach out to my Insurance company. How am I going to reach out to the insurance company when I can't tell them why Wex denied the claim? I asked to speak to a supervisor, but one could not be found. Completely awful! They have accepted the same documentation previously (3 other times) and now I'm being told that it isn't acceptable. Even after speaking with the supervisor she explained what documentation I needed, but it wasn't what the two other people said I needed. I would have just continued to be denied if I hadn't talked with the supervisor. And it's more than what their KnowledgeBase tells you, you need. So what I have learned is that it's completely random on what you can submit to get it approved and you better just hope you get the right processor. What a nightmare! I don't know what's wrong with me as I decided to renew this plan during open enrollment, although deep inside I knew I was making a terrible mistake in light of the catastrophe last year trying to get my prescription glasses accepted as a valid expense with these clowns. My husband had laser dental cleaning (a 2 part process) that was done 72 hours apart. Well WEX in their infinite wisdom will only pay for HALF OF HIS TEETH TO BE CLEANED STATING THE OTHER HALF IF HIS MOUTH IS INELIGIBLE. Their stupidity/ignorance leaves me speechless AND FURIOUS. I have submitted the reciept 3 times and the ITEMIZED receipt twice with denials for all 5 submissions. CLEARLY they are unqualified to interpret an itemized statement. I have called twice and was given promise last that the claim would be resubmitted and the 3 times I have tried to send an email I have been "logged out due to inactivity". 3 TIMES). I am doing a C/P by the way which takes approximately 40 seconds. To add insult to injury they are holding my flex card balance hostage until I repay this unauthorized usage of money I put in for the account. When I called to discussed I was sent to a call center in Pakistan. The call center representative had an incredibly thick accent and it was hard to understand their English. This company is very clearly set up to make retrieving your own hard-earned money as difficult as possible. Called 3 days ago to discuss unauthorized transactions (several). Was told to go to my account and print a dispute form and fax it. Which I did. Called today to see if they received such dispute forms and was told there's no way they can check for that but I will get an update in 45 to 60 days. Had trouble understanding customer services accent. I asked her getting an update on what since I don't know if they even received my forms and asked to talk to a supervisor. Wex Cobra Benefits is the worst company to work with for continuation of health insurance coverage. They lack in communication with their customers. New "paid" accounts take in excess of 15 days to complete setup. If you need an authorization during this time, you're out of luck, even though your payment was processed on delivery! Making a change to your benefit package such as dropping a household member results in not having access to the new accout they set up. We dropped the primary from our plan and received an email from Wex with a Code to enter for a new account of the remaining beneficiary. We entered the code and entered a new UID and PW. The system locked us out. When complaining to Wex about it twice, they acknowledged that we would be contacted by another area to resolve the issue. After waiting 24 hrs., we contacted Wex to be told it may take as long as 5 days before someone may get back with us...wow! Stay away from this pathetic company!! Troy S. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had in dealing with a company. I would give it a zero rating if that were an option. WEX Health administers my COBRA plan for the health coverage I opted to continue through my last employer. Since starting COBRA in August, the status of my insurance was expired for most of each month. My previous employer moved to a new insurance carrier effective 10/1 and the insurance carrier doesn't show I have an account. All WEX Health says is we sent it over in September, but we'll send it again. I find that to be such a juvenile response. Don't they realize not being able to refill prescriptions or schedule doctor appointments, and the stress of there being no effective process for resolving these issues can impact a person's health? There's been no accountability on their end for confirming my information is received by the insurance carrier and is active. Isn't that their job as the administrators of my COBRA? WEX recommended I call back with the insurance company on the line to expedite things (again, no accountability or efforts on their part). The wait time to speak with someone was so long, the insurance company couldn't stay on the line any longer and said they'll have to call back once the reach someone at WEX - 24 to 72 hrs. In the meantime, I paid my premium for October and my automatic payment for November will be made tomorrow, but I can't make any appointments or refill prescriptions because there's no record in the system of me having insurance. I can't even pay out-of-pocket and get reimbursed at this point because I can't even show my insurance is pending. They have a system in place to make it easy for you to pay your premiums, but nothing in place to follow through and ensure a person's insurance is active and in place. I don't know if it's possible to find another company to go through for my COBRA, but I'm going to find out. read more

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I used the card at the optometrist, and they denied the claim because they didn't have sufficient documentation. Why offer a debit card at all if you absolutely require the explicit itemized receipt? They're also extremely unclear about which forms are required to submit reimbursements. I tried to have my gym membership reimbursed; I got a backdated doctors note and submitted receipts for several months. They accepted the claim for one of the recipes, but not all of them. I called to ask why, and the women on the phone was confused and unhelpful. She told me I needed another form to accompany the doctors note, the form of medical necessity, and my doctor needed to sign it. There is no space for the doctor signature on that form, and I told her that. She was confused and just retreated back to saying "that's our policy". Paperwork and incompetence aside, it feels absurd that I needed a doctors note explaining that exercise is medically beneficial. Wex takes your money and erects barriers to ask for it back. Awful, awful service. I would never recommend and FSA to anybody. read more

HORRIBLE ! Wreaks of Scam ! This is the worst billing company I have ever dealt with. Their bill paying system is horrible. It seems to be purposely designed to get a $20 convenience fee from each user at least once a year when rate hikes go into effect. There is no proper way to adjust automatic payments. This causes the customer to be behind on monthly premium payments. The only remedy is to cancel the auto payment and create a new auto payment. Once this is done now you need to make a payment for to catch up on the shortfall for the last month. This is where WEX charges their customers a $20 fee make an online payment that isn't an auto payment. It's an unlawful billing practice .
