This spot has that "old-school" DQ vibe that took me straight back to my high school days. The 50's-style building with outdoor windows is pure nostalgia! I visited right before closing, so there were no crowds, and parking was easy to find. However, the parking lot is small, so it might be a challenge during busier times. I ordered the classic Oreo Blizzard, and it was just as delicious as I remembered--creamy, perfectly blended, and hit the spot! Overall, a charming little spot for a sweet treat, especially if you're a fan of that retro feel.

I chose the honeydew, which had a light green glaze on top. It was satisfactorily not too sweet, with a tiny little crunch on top from the glaze, an unexpected contrast to the chewiness of the donut. This made me want to try more, but the other flavors that were on display at the time did not call to me in terms of flavor profiles, as I am not big on donuts with toppings. Would love to return and try other less sweet varieties like the honeydew- YUM! We did the preorder on the app with a 7 am pickup to avoid the crowds and it was perfect. The store was bright and clean as always. My only complaint is how crazy expensive it's gotten. The 3.5 lb ham and 3 lb breast we got were $100 but we fed five people and have leftovers so not terrible. Still great ham and turkey!

On my way from work, I tried calling the store to confirm the cake was ready, but no one answered. I arrived around 5:45 PM, and only then was I told that the cake was being picked up from another store and that someone was on the way back. I waited 45 minutes, repeatedly being told the person was "on the way," but no one ever arrived. In the end, I left without the cake. To make matters worse, this was already my second trip. The first time, I waited about 30 minutes just to place the order because there was only one associate working. So overall, I wasted time twice--first placing the order, then trying to pick it up--and still ended up with no cake for my daughter's birthday. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Never again.
