We ordered our food and sat down to wait, but when it was ready, everything was brought to us in bags as if it were to-go, even though we were eating there. As for the food, everything was just bleh and pretty subpar. Nothing stood out or made me want to come back and try something else. My son nearly broke his plastic fork trying to cut into his cinnamon roll--that definitely wasn't a good sign! Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. Between the lack of customer service and the hard cinnamon rolls, there's definitely room for improvement.

This Churromania is located inside Pembroke Lakes mall at their food court & you can miss it. It's a staple here and my family loves stopping by for a sweet treat. I came recently to grab some dessert for a friends hangout and didn't realize how extensive their menu was. From hot chocolate to shakes to tequennos and, of course, churros- they have it all! I got 20 churros for $9.99 and they actually had a lot of other deals going on. the service was quick and friendly and we got our churros in no time. I also got a dipping sauce of Nutella. It was expensive for $1.75 in a lil Nutella jar but it was cute! A great stop for dessert in the mall!

Located basically at the head of the food court, you can't miss it & you really don't want to! Whether there's a line or not, the employees do a good job making sure things move steadily. Most importantly, it seems like any time you order you get hot, fresh churros that are made to order. I'm personally a fan of the original sugar or cinnamon/sugar but they offer plenty of varieties. You can have them drizzled with Nutella, dulce de leche, guava & other things. They also offer plain & filled churro bites which are little pieces of deliciousness. I usually look at the back of house whenever I order from a restaurant in the mall (or anywhere) & it looks like they stay on top of their basic cleaning duties, as you'd hope. Counter tops are usually tidy, there's not visible trash left on the floors/etc & I've seen the employees actively cleaning at times. The pricing of their churros are very fair, in my opinion. Not only are you getting freshly made churros, you can get them year-round at any time of day. How can it get much better than that? I've been coming here for years & I'll keep coming back as long as they want to serve those crispy, golden sticks of joy.

The location only employee had a language problem to communicate in English. The service was painful slow & not informative. These churros were correct in length, but thinly extruded. The topping of Deluce de leche and Nutella was barely applied. The thicker churros were a better than the skinny ones (a little better ratio of chewy to crispy). The stuffed churros only have the option to come with dulce de leche, it would be nice if the other toppings were also available! $28 for both orders which was a little pricey. Two orders for 3 people was more than enough. I would recommend for kids and eating immediately so they are hot!

For those of you that don't know how Menchie's works, it's basically a self serve frozen yogurt place offering up different flavors of yogurt and tons of toppings. If you ask, they will give you a small cup to try any flavor you might want to sample before buying. Be aware that you are charged by the weight of your cup of yogurt and it's easy to get carried away! When I was there some of the flavors they had were fresh cantaloupe, cookies and cream, root beer float, Dulce de leche and others. My favorite however is their original tart flavor. For me it's almost addictive. I added some fresh kiwi. blueberries, mochi and a few chocolate chips and I loved every bite of it. I sampled the root beer float and it was a hard pass. It tasted really medicinal and took a little bit to get the taste out of my mouth. The employees were helpful and the place was clean.
