I was the victim of an unfair wage garnishment. I had met with a lawyer from the credit card…read morecompany and had agreed on a payment. The lawyer for the plaintiffs said to call the number and set up payments. I called and never got an answer. I left several messages telling them I was told to call and set up payments. Later I received a message on my payroll stating that my pay was going to be garnished 25% each pay period. This was a crippling blow to my family of six. The payment went from one that was reasonable to more than 10 times what was agreed upon. After calling several lawyers and being told that there was nothing they could do, I called Chris Stanford. He and his staff were very friendly and eager to listen to my case. After a free consultation and Mr. Stanfords advisement, he filed a notice to stop the wage garnishment. The garnishment stopped immediately. We were able to get a court date quickly, Chris presented my case to the court using his knowledge of the law.
