From our first consultation through our Administrative Law Judge hearing last week Mr. Anderson was incredibly proactive and positive regarding my application. Although the process of getting to the ALJ hearing phase took nearly a year, Mr. Anderson kept me informed at every step and also handled my case with remarkable due diligence, collecting hundreds of pages of medical and financial paperwork for use in supporting the very thorough and persuasive brief that he wrote for the ALJ in advance of my hearing. As the hearing approached, Mr. Anderson scheduled two sessions specifically with me to prep me thoroughly for exactly what to expect at the hearing. We went over my records and he helped me have a clear and very specific understanding of exactly what types of questions the judge would likely have for me at the hearing. All of this preparation paid off; because I knew what to expect in the hearing, I was able to understand what sort of info the judge was seeking and I was also able to answer his questions in the way that Mr. Anderson had advised me that he (the judge) would find most helpful. Obviously Mr. Anderson's months of conscientious work on my behalf paid off; the judge told us before the hearing was even over that he had decided to award me Social Security disability benefits plus applicable back pay. I know from my external reading that a positive decision by a judge directly from the bench almost never happens and when it does, it's largely due to the attorney's preparation of his/her client, plus having the appropriate records available along with a clear and compelling brief for the judge to get a concise understanding of the case. I can't recommend Ed Anderson highly enough. I've rarely had a more satisfying experience with a professional service provider. He's also polite, pleasant and always willing to answer all of my questions. I would definitely select him again as my attorney in this or any other similar matter.

Bob Wilkinson "represented" me in my divorce, after my husband got my first (out-of-state) attorney…read morefired for failing to have my in-state attorney cosign all papers, as was legally required. Bob actually tried to talk me down from our initial agreement of in alimony from my husband, when I was not working and was recovering from a major illness that required 3 years of treatment and recovery, while my husband was working at ORNL and earning just under $200,000/year. I was incredulous that Bob's words as he took me aside were, "We have to leave him enough to live on." I insisted that he agree to the initially discussed offer of $500 more! I was going to be on COBRA to the tune of $700/month for just 3 years. He did not inform me that I was entitled to half of my husband's retirement for the duration of our 20 years of retirement. He signed our QDRO after reviewing it, and still did not inform me of this, despite the fact that my husband did not report that as one of our assets. I discovered this several years later, he insisted that he had never been my attorney of record, despite the fact that he had signed our final divorce decree as my divorce attorney. Bob was a horrible attorney who left me high and dry - he was the antithesis of an advocate, and I recommend him to no one. I am sincere as to the veracity of every statement I make here. I have not embellished or distorted a single statement in this review. I have spoken with at least 3 individuals related to me, who described serious mistakes; failures; or just plain ignorance on Bob's part in serving as their attorney. Of course, those are 3rd party reports and I cannot speak as to the truth of their statements, except to vouch for the good character of these people, and the fact that I've never found reason to mistrust them in the years that I have known them.
